Actually somewhat helpful if you ask him personally. Not a lot of continuity during lectures, and even though you're not expected to know anything going in, if you don't, you probably won't do so well. TAs aren't super helpful during lab, and grade rather subjectively (which the professor will revise if you ask him). Better for advanced classes.

He is not always the clearest in lecture but his office hours are extremely helpful. Very nice guy, I have him twice and would like to have him again. He knows his stuff inside and out and he is always willing to help with anything he can, even if it's not course related.

He is the worse prof. I have ever had, he doest not know anything about the topic he teaches, the book is a disaster, it?s basically a user manual if you could avoid take the course with him go ahead and do it, you would never regret it.

I look this course in fall 05. He seems to know his stuff but come around and ask him a question, he tell you to read the book. Good grief. International students seem to avoid him like plague. He is definately not a good teacher.

From what I hear, he's the better of the 2120 Professors - okay person, all around, but constantly assumed that we knew more than we did. Seemed to go out of his way to slip extremely tricky questions on the test. Spent the last 3 weeks going over material that we'd never practiced, but had on the final, anyway.

Ok person, just very unhelpful when it comes to tests. Also assumes that you know things about the course that you probably don't. Uses multiple choice format for tests which is very distracting and ineffective.
