PS 301 is incredibly easy. Participation is the most important thing that you can do in this class. Don't buy the textbook. Dr. Taylor is great. He is very approachable, will work with you, and will invite you to things that he is hosting in the PS department. The class was a little dry, but I cannot stress enough how easy it is.

Professor Taylor was my favorite instructor of the semester by far. He is an expert on the subject and his lectures are very interesting. He also has prior experience working in a congressional office. All exams are essays but he gives you plenty of feedback to help you improve. Very solid choice.

Prof. Taylor is one of the most knowledgeable professors at NCSU. He knows his field intimately and his seminar class is untainted by his own political convictions. He graded me very leniently and was nice to me on every occasion. Pretty funny, too. British accent is cool, too.

Only 3 out of class papers and 3 tests. Gave 5 essay topics for the test and you had to pick 2 and write about them. Such a tough grader. Everything you do in there is write essays and I got in the 80s range for EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Also has a British accent and stutters sometimes. No final exam, the third test is non cumulative.

Dr. Taylor is extremely knowledgeable and qualified, but he's very approachable and easy to talk to. Attendance isnt taken, but you'll have a hard time doing well if you don't show up. Never used the textbook. 3 (non-cumulative) tests and 3 papers. Discussion and participation matters.

Great professor and teacher who's very clear on what he's looking for from students. A few papers, but nothing more than 5 pages. Quizzes were defining terms and were straight forward. He gets your grades back pretty quick too.

The best professor I've had at State so far. He is very approachable and funny. Though attendance is not mandatory, you have to go in order to get the notes. On his tests, he gives you 5 essay topics and allows you to choose two to write on. He has had experience in the field he teaches. Textbooks are not mandatory.

Great professor. He can be hard to follow at times, but over all he explains the material well. He assigns reading, but you don't really have to do it as long as you pay attention in class & take good notes. He is always receptive to students outside of the classroom including the weekends.

Make sure you go to class and take good notes and you'll be golden on the tests. Term paper wasn't too hard...5 to 7 pages and he gives a ton of topics to choose from.
