Incredibly disorganized and grades materials slowly. online quizzes almost every week. Does not drop any of them. Tests are long, almost 100 questions plus essay questions at the end. Don't bother asking her questions even if its for your own educational advancement she is rude and makes you feel dumb for asking a question. READ,READ,READ.

Echeverri is an excellent teacher. Micro is a tough subject, but she makes it do-able. Her lectures are amazing, and she is quite forgiving when it comes to grading. Labs are hectic so it is a must to keep your lab notebook up-to-date. Several opportunities for extra credit. Clear study guides for all tests.

Echeverri is a good professor, she goes over the powerpoints thoroughly and answers all questions. Like all science classes it's very test heavy in terms of grading. Her study guides aren't that great, it's better to go over the powerpoints and memorize bacteria names. But overall a good teacher.

echeverri is a really good professor. she tries to make the lectures funny and makes alot of easy connections. no book needed, just focus on slides really. her labs are pretty boring but make sure you keep up w/ your lab notebook or you will regret it. she often gives you some of the answers for the written part of the exam, so an easy 15 points.

She is one of the best professor in the Science department at Mission College. I took biology and microbiology with her. Of course lecture heavy because we can not look for an easy professor for those subjects. She is professional and well prepared. Hello Science majors dont look for professor that are easy; we need to learn.

She's an amazing professor and really knows what she's talking about. No textbook needed, gives lots of extra credit. The tests aren't very hard since she lets you use a notecard and tells you what the essay questions will be. She's really good at making sure you know what you're doing if you take her for lab, so I recommend you do! Easy to pass.

Very nice, smart, and easy going Professor. Book isn't really needed, all her quizzes and tests are based on power points. She gives a study guide for every test and lets you use a index card (you make your notes) for every test. Offers A lot of extra credit (Take advantage)!! If you take her for lab she wont let the class out early.

Nice professor and cares about the students. However takes FOREVER to grade! the class is a bit difficult but NOT IMPOSSIBLE! Get a group and help each other out. Don't fall behind and read the ppts ALL them. Know your diseases, Bacteria, nd write EVERY LAB DOWN or you'll be sorry. Every control nd results have to be in ur manual. You'll thank me.

Took this professor for biology 3 and i enjoyed it! She offers extra credit . I then took her for micro which was really tough actually, alot of information. Her tests consist of 80 to 100 questions, about 3 essay questions. For both classes we had to do a disease brochure. She uses etudes for everything. But she lags in grading.

I felt very intimated asking for help in this class. She doesn't expect you to need any help in lab and if you have a question she makes you feel dumb. It's been 10 days since the class ended & no grade has been posted. I'm in dire need of my transcripts before my program deadline and it looks like I'm not going to make it. You're on your own here!

I took Angela for Bio 3 and Dr. Brown for labs during the summer. Prof. Angela is very helpful, she offers a bunch (ALOT) of extra credit that allowed me to get an A in class. She offers lecture reviews and test reviews all the time helping students succeed. I can honestly say Angela is one of the few Professors that care about their students.

I took bio 3 over summer it was intense but professor Echeverri gave a ton of extra credit workshops, extra credit qs on tests, and we were allowed to use index cards on exams. Easy to pass the class if you put some work into it and there was also tutors available so that was a plus. I would recommend taking her.

I really liked professor Echeverri! You definitely need to attend lectures and take good notes to pass the class. She can go fast during lectures. You can gain up to 20-25 points of extra credit per exam by answering extra exam questions+ attending study sessions or the SSC. Her tests are VERY detailed so be sure to study specific examples.

Also gives you attempts for EC. Don't miss lecture and lab because you will definitely fall behind. She's a great teacher and nice. NO TEXTBOOK only lab book
