Professor Tauro is a good teacher. She is very passionate about the subject matter and she tries very hard to get the whole class involved. She has a lot of emotions and she is not afraid to share them. Overall great teacher, but semi-hard class.

Very nice teacher and cares about all of her student, but just because she likes you doesn't mean you'll get a good grade. Wants everyone to LEARN spanish and hates that some people are just there to fulfill core. Tries to make you learn it and will help you but requires a lot of outside work.

Great woman, very funny. Had her at 930am 3 times a week, you cant hide and sleep with her so watch out. Good teacher but tests can be hard, never got above an 85. Quizes are easy, Few powerpoint presentations a semester as well. Not the worst teacher to take, but you will have to work and be prepared for each class

Best professor at FU. Even at 9am she has the class in tears of laughter within the first 20mins of every class. But she's not only fun and funny - she gives her heart and soul to the class. She's kind and ALWAYS available if you need extra help. She's not a piece of cake, but if you pull your own weight and do your work, you'll be good to go.

I never knew what went on in that class. She constantly changed the syllabus, sometimes would pull things from there that didn't even exist. Barely learned in the class because we were everywhere and I wasn't sure what was the point for anything. It felt like I was in high school. Hard teacher, pretty helpful. Needs to be more organized though.

She means well. She's not an easy teacher by any means and a lot of what we read and learn is stupid. She makes up a syllabus and then constantly changes what she actually wants us to do. Therefore NO ONE ever knows what is due and when it is due. That sucks, but she's a pretty ok teacher if you attend class and do your work,

Tauro is probably the scariest teacher in the beginning, but after a little while, she really grows on you. She expects a lot out of you and expects that you have already learned all Spanish grammar before enrolling in her class. So if you don't know the grammar, good luck. But I swear, she is always, and i mean always willing to help you.

Love Angela--great personality and fun teacher. If she sees you yawning or not paying attention she breaks out into a tap routine. Class was easy generally, but tests could be tricky. Big on memorization. Had her for Continuing which doesn't exist anymore, but that was fun, too. Highly recommended if you can tolerate a little craziness.

tauro is a great teacher. its the most work i've ever done for a spanish class but its worth it (she loves the textbook) she's all about her 8am office hours and is very helpful. she says hi to EVERYONE and if class gets boring, just ask her to do a little dance...and if you know flamenco she'd love to learn.

She is a horrible teacher. She is SO unorganized, and never clear on what she wants. Everyone in the class had to call each other every night to try to figure out what she wants for class. Her syllabus is unclear, and changes every week. She plays favorites, and hates all males. One of the worst teachers I have ever had at Fairfield.

Very nice and helpful, passionate about what she does. Too heavy on history as opposed to grammar and speech, but very bearable class. Once you're on her bad side you're screwed, but it takes a lot of effort to get on the bad side, so its deserved. Definitely take her

Overrated...I know so many ppl who dropped her class. She acts like the world revolves around learning spanish, she makes you go to the library and watch movies and summarize them on your own time. Plus she doesnt tolerate like any english in class
