Comment:

Dr. Davis is a nice lady but she's not that great of a teacher. Her tests are just like the online homework. There's a lot of online homework, but its easy. She takes attendance everyday but I don't think that factored into any of our final grade. She says she won't, but then will allow you to make up tests for half credit.

I wouldn't take her again. I'm not good at math and I wasn't allowed to use a calculator. The first lecture she told us to buy the book and then the next time we met she told us not to worry about. However, I had already bought it. Save your money and don't buy it. I didn't open it once. All of your homework is on mymathlab anyways.

AWFUL do not take her her lectures are from the book the homework is through a different online book format. The test she makes off the top of her head. Nothing it the same. You could understand the lecture and do well on HW and FLUNK (yes flunk) the test. I had A on all the HW I took 7 math classes in high school. So I wouldn't say im at all bad at math I had a A in 1710 and fail 2 of the 3ish test and so I got a D in this class and had to retake. DO NOT TAKE HER. TAKE ANYONE BUT HER. She teachs well but test format vs HW is AWFUL!!

She is very good at math but not the best at teaching it. I took her college algebra class and there was another teacher there, so she helped clear things up. She makes a lot of threats and attacks the class randomly. You can pass as long as you do the homework and study for tests. I taught myself everything.

She's aweful. She's trying to weed out the students who aren't good at math to make them drop as soon as possible. Never mind the ones that could be good with just a little help. She talks fast and is very unclear and scattered all over the place. She's also very hostile and threatening. Lectures were impossible but I could do the HW in a flash.

Davis was one of my favorites. She was super helpful when I asked questions and she often extended homework dates. I bough the textbook for 1530 and should have saved my money instead. All homework was on mymathlab for this course. Final was also online when I took the class.

She was very lenient with due dates and always gave ample opportunities and info for extra help. The only bad part of the class is that she was kind of confusing. I read a book or played on my phone during class because she confused me. But the examples on the online hw tell you how to do things step by step which is what helped me the most.

She is very kind and always extend the due dates for assignments. she encourages students to ask questions and to go to the help labs and student instructors study sessions. I knew nothing when i came in but left knowing math especially the difference quotient. Dr. Davis is great.

Very nice women, she would help anyone who needed help and she would go over any problem you needed help with in class. Most of the work is done online she just wants you to come for participation. Attendance wasn't mandatory. Long as you do good on the tests, easy A.

She is a very nice lady and will go over any problem you need help with. She's funny and attendance maybe mandatory at first but I missed like a whole week out. Most of the work is online so It isn't necessary to go to class. And she's super easy and would homework and quiz due dates if we asked.

She's a great woman. Smart, and a good professor. But she's really, really hard. Most of her teaching comes in the form of proofs. Very brutal way to learn. But not impossible. I passed with a B, not ever taking Trig (but def had to learn it on the fly). She slows the pace for no one. If you want easy, steer clear.

This is a great teacher but you have to show up to class everyday. The day before the test she will tell you every thing you need to know so pay attention. She always go over homework if you have trouble in class. Best math professor I've had:)

Horrible professor, I dropped the class after the second test. She teaches sooooooo fast && never stays on the topic. If you can teach yourself than this is the class for you. Good Luck

Terrible professor, I received an A in Calc 1 and got a D in Calc 2. Tests are brutal and she is terrible at explaining the material. Had to learn the entire course on my own. Don't expect any help when the entire class fails the test, she will not curve the grade. If you get her, drop the class and save your money so you can take it next semester.
