Professor Kitchens can be extremely helpful if you meet with her during office hours, if not your out of luck on doing well in the class (unless you're naturally good at math). Definitely try to make every class and do homework it will help. She's really sweet and funny if you are on your good side!

Professor Kitchens is a very sweet, and caring person. She wants you to learn the material, yet the way she presents it is flawed. If you dont reach out to her outside of class, if you dont learn the material in class that is, youll have a rough time. She is a very kind and passionate teacher, but her class is the hardest math 1010 class by far.

Dr. Kitchens was extremely unclear during lectures. On tests I would make a mistake and others would make the exact same mistake and she would take off different points for each student. Her tests are only ten question but the FINAL TEN PAGES LONG

I have pretty mixed feelings about Anita, she is a super sweet lady who is enthusiastic about math, but she is also pretty confusing and doesn't give you time to work on examples before she jumps into explaining it. The topics we covered were super basic but she can over explain and complicate things if yous not careful. Not bad but not the best.

Anita genuinely cares about her students. She even stayed 1 hour later than her office hours on her birthday to help me! However she isn't very clear. She will start one example then skip to the next. Moves very quickly on some difficult subjects and then really drags on the easier subjects. She seems to teach a lot better one on one..

Anita is a very nice lady but she isn't clear on explaining problems and steps on how to complete them. Sometimes, she won't even say the answer, but show the work with no explanation.I studied for all tests, somehow I never managed higher than an 80. She is one of those professors who think their class is the only one you are taking. Steer clear!

Professor Kitchens is extremely into her class, she genuinely cares how you do and is always willing to help. Going to her office hours if you are struggling is necessary, but if you can' t make it she will work with your schedule. She's the best!

Nicest teacher youll ever have. She an adorable older woman who wants you to succeed. Very good at answering questions if you don't understand something. However she does get a little scatter brained, but its manageable. Pretty simple class if your good at math. A lot of outside of class work though.

I loved this class! I'm not big on math so I was basically looking for the easiest class with the best professor, and I think I found it. She loves math and is extremely excited about the topics and is VERY willing to help. If you just pay attention, get help if confused, it's very easy to get an A. Kitchens is kinda goofy, but funny. I recommend!

Dr. Kitchens is very enthusiastic about math, even in a basic gen ed class where most people don't care. She's always happy to help you with the homework. If you struggle with math but want to work and get better, she's a great option. If you want to skip class or tune her out for 50 minutes, good luck. You have to buy a workbook.

She was a great professor! She's different, but it was the first A I have received in a math class since middle school. You have to work for your grades, but she encourages going to her office hours, and they actually help! Her tests are graded based on the work: If your work is right and the answer is wrong you still get full credit.

She is all over the place when going over the problems. She will stop half way when going over it and not even finish the problem and go on to the next one. When you ask her to finish a problem and gets upset when you ask her questions. When she puts a problem on the board and says work it, she only gives you 2 seconds to work it and rushes to much

Wonderful, nice lady and an excellent teacher! Homework is optional but if you want to do well in any college class you have to practice. She has a variety of office hours and is so kind and willing to work with you if you are struggling. I am not good at math and I did very well in the class. Take her!

Yes, she suggests (does not grade) a lot of homework/practice problems. If you understand the material you don't really have to do them. If you don't however, I suggest you do problems until you understand the material. Try to understand her, though it is hard, the more effort she sees you putting forth, the better your grade will be.

A lot of work. She assigns impossible amounts of homework, and speeds through material. Her tests are impossible to finish within the allotted time. I do not recommend.

Did not care for this professor. She is all over the place while she is teaching. She does care a lot about math and she wants to help you understand the best she can, but I was confused a lot by some of the things she taught. I would not recommend this teacher.

She is all over the place. Basicly had to teach 90% of the material to my self. She's only good at explaining things if you've literally never taken a math class before. She has her own way to do everything. Go to her office hours if you can, not that it makes more sense but she puts a lot of stock in friendliness and effort.
