This is the most disrespectful teacher I have ever had on UK's campus. I had many health issues and I emailed her all of my excuses yet she still was being disrespectful towards me. She rambles a lot and she isn't fair. She assigns you 3 papers for the entire semester. I don't know how she's still teaching at this university. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

There were three papers, and each was worth 30% of the final grade. The other 10% came from participation. We read one chapter each week, and Dr. Superson basically recapitulated the chapter during each lecture. She was open to questions, and she left good feedback on every paper.

This class is easy if you show up and put effort into the 3 papers for the semester. The only people who don't like her are the ones who try to argue with her in class. You have to keep in mind that she is not sharing her own opinion but the opinions of philosophers, so don't be an ass and you'll get an A.

She's a complainer, and she does require attendance. She grades so easily though, it's hard not to pass this class. The absolute easiest philosophy class I've ever taken.

This Professor dismisses all opinions shared that do not apply to her own. Her grading is very unclear. She refuses to put grades online so the only way of knowing where you stand in her class is by looking at the smiley or frowny faces on the top of your THREE papers for the semester. Good luck decoding that!

She is the most disrespectful professor I have ever had. She dismisses any thoughts that are outside of her opinion. She argues aggressively. She doesn't give any feedback or rubrics for assignments. She might have been grading on whether or not she liked her students. She rolls her eyes at students. All and all she is the worst professor!

One of the worst philosophy classes I've taken at UK. Dismisses arguments she doesn't agree with, constantly complains about her job, and generally seems annoyed that she has to teach. Unfortunate that this is a required class for the major and she's the only one who teaches it.

Only surface details and middle school level discussion of the topics. Assignments were a joke, but that's not as difficult to endure as the simplicity. Dr. Hale's healthcare ethics was much better.

I also took her contemporary moral problems class her at Michigan and it was a joke. She literally had us copy paste our notes into our "papers", and hnaded out A's. It was nice to have such an easy class but it was also degrading.

I had Prof. Superson for "Contemporary Moral Problems" here at the University of Michigan (she's from Kentucky but did a guest semester here). The class dealt with race and gender problems in the U.S., and by "dealt with" I mean tried to expose people to these problems. She ended up being a good professor and I'm glad I took the class.
