The prof is nice but the class is ridiculously expensive and requires way too much time. I didn't really learn anything. I was hoping to learn excel and access into depth but the class covers only the basics that most people already know. Its not hard to be honest just too time consuming

Expect a dump load of homework which will include a tutorial, a review and a case study along with a quiz and exam. Do NOT expect a good grade on the exam as questions read like ancient Aramaic even if you DO read the chapter and work through all the assignments. mid-term and end of term project. Take only if it's this ONE class, else run

INF101 online is a straightforward course. If you want to learn about the Microsoft Office programs this is a great course. At times the work was time consuming, but nothing dreadful. As long as you complete the work on time and put a bit of effort in, you will get an A. Professor was helpful and understanding whenever I emailed her with questions

she gets a bad rep in my opinion. but if you're looking for an easy A course, don't take her. just go to class and pay attention, do your homework, and don't fall behind (i did a bit). you should be fine if you do that. the only bad thing is that she's unnecessarily strict. during the final i could have sworn i was about to take the GREs.

Very demanding but fair professor. With that being said, yes she gives assignments every week, very strict when it comes to deadlines to submit your work. You better come in prepared to her class, read the assigned material, as she likes to pick individual students for participation. If you are SERIOUS and WANT to learn, definitely take her class.

Took Java online. Class is tough. Quiz/HW every week and Quiz/Exam/HW every other week. Test questions come from the book. Workload is alot, though she gives you a week to do them. She's ready to help and replies very quickly. If you have computer prog. background, like c++, online class is fine. Those w/o, DEFINITELY take it in person/hybrid.

I loved this class. She is a no nonsense kind of person which I respect. She knows her stuff and I trust her knowledge of what is happening now in the IT job world. And if you are thinking about transferring to a 4 year college take her class because that is what all your classes will be like.

Uses a VERY complicated Oracle curriculum, not it is hard, but because she insists on using both sections of the curriculum's SIMULTANEOUSLY, which drives you crazy with assignments. She's not forgiving with the work she assigns to students, and she has ABSOLUTELY ZERO sense of humor (Tries to make jokes that are awful). Don't take her if you can.

Never take a class with this woman. Especially if you have other classes, a job, or god forbid a life outside of her classroom. She just piles the work on and expects everything to a T. Apparently my 4 months of experience with HTML means I'm now an expert, and since she's been working with it forever, if it's easy for her it must be easy for me.

do not take her, if you are just learning Visual Basic. you will be lost. completely. Unless you have PRIOR KNOWLEDGE of Visual Basic, you then, may perhaps succeed. Other than this PRIOR KNOWLEDGE, dont count on learning ANYTHING. she is a very sweet lady, but academics wise, will make you miserable. if you see her, run away.
