Dr. Aguanno is hands-down one of the best professors at Marymount. Her class is difficult but achievable if you read and study the material. She is a great teacher who cares about her students and the material and is super intelligent! I definitely recommend her class.

Dr. Aguanno was basically my introduction to the college because she was my first professor. She can be intimidating because she has a strong character but she knows her stuff. She is very accessible to her students outside of class, and she likes to see her students motivated to learn. Its just a matter of time and adjustment to love this lady.

One of the most devoted professors I have ever had. She is a New Yorker, a strong woman (which people arent used to) and has expectations, so she can seam very intimidating, yet she is one of the best professors at this school. Just don;t mix up high expectations with being mean. There is a difference, and she wants everyone to succeed.

Dr. Aguanno is one of the most inspirational professors. Yes she is intimidating, but she wants her students to learn and grow. She gives a ton of extra material to learn from, including animations, worksheets, and virtual labs. You will pass as long as you show up, participate, and put in hard work. I've never had a worse experience taking an online class. Constantly condescending and completely unwilling to help when you ask for it. She even ripped her lessons/lectures off stuff that was already online. Glad I never need another experience with this teacher ever again.

Excellent professor. Very hard grader. If you pay attention in class, and put effort into your work, she will reward you fairly. Pay attention, participate, don't be absent, and provide thorough information in your homework/projects. There is no way you can receive a poor grade if you do this.

I thought that the new york times articles presented in class was too high school for me and the time could been spend better focusing on something else. She need to try to be a bit nicer and understanding. Finally most of us don't understand the material when you say "we all understand this".

AVOID HER. She is smart and interesting to listen to, but she has favorites. I was definitely NOT on the favorite list and suffered for it. I tried so hard in this class and felt like it was pointless- I was a sinking ship and could do nothing right. I received A's and B's in all of my other classes... draw your own conclusions.

All bark, no bite. Had her for Evolution last semester. Condescending and always in a bad mood. Got the impression that she thinks everyone who isn't a science/bio major is dumb or useless. Has a coterie of bio majors who worship her, but I'm certainly not one of them.
