By far the worst professor that I have had at SVSU. Do not take her for a teacher. I had 4 years of Spanish in high school and took her spanish 111 class and she was the worst spanish teacher I have ever had. I don't know how anyone learned anything from her.

Very difficult class if you have not had Spanish before. Senora Garcia is unclear, and does not explain how or why things are a certain way. First day of class she pretty much speaks spanish non-stop, and hard to follow. I had to ask my friend what she was saying b/c she has had span. classes before, and she had a hard time following. Avoid.

I am glad I took FOUR years of Spanish for NOTHING. In High School, I actually looked forward to Spanish class. Now, I absolutely dread it! She is a horrible teacher and has a very bad attitude! It seems she is always crabby and she grades very hard and not helpful!!! Save yourself, do not take her!

she's an awful teacher. yes, she is a teacher not a professor. she does not explain anything she hands out as an assignment. if you ask a question she'll answer it with, I'm not going to tell you HOW! i would not suggest to take any of her classes.
