No textbooks or exams. Doesn't have attendance policy outside of English policy. I'm unsure if she cares if you show up or not. Very easy to talk to and discuss things. A lot depends on your ability to write the various things she asks for. If you have a strong voice you'll be okay. If you don't you may need to get extra help to do what she wants.

Comment:

You need to be an english major with hard core interpretation skills to take George (Writing major here). I had to interpret her paper rubric and convert that to a paper. Some papers I didn't know why I got the grade. You will learn material in her class and she is amiable, but if you are not willing to "mine" your grade out of her don't take her.

Took Intro to Comp and the class was alllllll about Dracula. Im a really bad writer but she is really helpful outside of classand basically writes your paper for you when you go to her office hours. She is super sweet and you should def take her class. But there is a TON of writing. I had to write a 4-6 page paper about once every two weeks.

Very nice lady. She assigns interesting readings. I am not great at writing and this class didn't contain any. She makes the class fun by assigning cool projects, short stories, and novels. Take it! Easy class and is very helpful. Easy A if you read and study for quizzes and tests.

She is the sweetest lady ever, she would make a great kindergarten teacher! The class is really interesting if you like fiction, and I highly recommend it! She is SO sweet! The class is an easy A if you pay attention and study for the exams!

LOVED THIS CLASS! Fewer papers to write than other comp classes and more time. Very leniant if you have a good excuse. Downside: she takes attendance seriously.And sometimes she's a little unclear in her paper feedback, and sets weird due dates.But she's really willing to help, too. Interesting topic! I'd highly recommend.
