Very interesting class. Write your weekly essays JUST like she says noting from each weekly readings in them and you will do well. Watch out for final exam, it was over readings from the book as well as readings from black board. Prepare for finale.

easy online class. Do the weekly essay assignment (350-500 words) over the lesson and take 2 tests. tests are easy, reviews given. only one book needed for test (reflecting on america). i was dreading the essay writing but it was simple. Easy elective if needed.

I felt she was always willing to help. Her lectures were a little slow occasionally however, I really did enjoy going to class and you can learn A LOT from her. She's pretty cool too because she takes the time to make a book for you to write your notes in! What other professor does that? I highly recommend Professor Jordan!

Professor Jordan is an excellent teacher! She is so sweet. Fairly easy class. Attendance is mandatory (5 absences allowed). Know the notes for the test, otherwise reading the textbook isn't too necessary. Tests are easy. One paper over an outside book, but it was interesting.

I don't think she enjoyed teaching this class as much as her other ones. She's really adorable, sweet, knowledgeable, and a good communicator. All of the papers and projects we did were extremely helpful in learning about the subject. She gets really excited when giving examples, but sometimes can get boring when talking about other things.

i love this lady! although we spent a large chunk of the semester focusing on the evolutionary process (rather than more recent cultures), she makes it interesting. her tests are well worded and pretty easy, and she's just really easy to talk to and understanding. if you get the chance, take her class!

Very good teacher. Her lectures were entertaining and organized. She provided a very well organized study guide that outlined each lecture and prepared us well for her exams. Studying was required and she assigned one research essay on a novel. She graded fairly and was always prepared. She also sparked my interest in Anthropology. Great class.

I loved this class from beginning to end. Lots of reading, take-home essay exams, and a research paper, but overall fairly easy class if you pay attention. She knows so much! She even helped me decide on a grad school, and of course now I'm studying Anthropology rather than Psychology. She's just overall amazing.

I really like this class. I came in knowing nothing of anthropology, but want to take more classes next semester. She keeps her lecture entertaining, gives you a study guide to take notes from, and has a great spirit. Her tests aren't hard as long as you study, and the class always zooms by.

I came in to this class never having taken an anthropology and with an undecided major, based on her class alone I'm considering Anthropology. She is a very sweet awesome person who really cares deeply for her students. This is easily my favorite class. The stories she tells are very cool and interesting, especially if you're interestes in the Native American culture.

Professor Jordan is just a fantastic, caring person. She didn't even know me, but she helped me understand the suicide of a friend. She's a fun professor, to boot, and her class is always enjoyable.

Very relaxed, easygoing teaching style. She is humorous, good-natured, and well-informed, although the experienced anthropology student may feel that her intro to sociocultural class could be a little too easy.
