Professor Neely is AMAZING!! This class is so much fun, you learn a lot about different types of children's literature and isn't just for education majors. Keep on top of assignments-there's lots of little assignments that can be challenging if you get behind. Midterms are the most difficult thing in the class, but easily passable.

This class is just frustrating--the workload is overwhelming, the practical application is next to nothing, and she is not willing to compromise or change for needs of the class.

Fantastic. Those who don't like her are in Education to get the Mrs. degree or an easy A. She expects a lot of her students but keeps it very interesting, is extremely helpful and concerned about her students outside of class. She is very knowledgeable, fair, organised and has very clear expectation

Very excited about children's lit, inspiring. You learn a lot in this class, although there are a lot of assignments. Grading isn't overly easy, but fair.

She knows the subject very well and keeps class very interesting. There is a lot of work (assignments), but her grading scale and expectations are very fair.
