Avoid this woman if at all possible. IMHO, She grades subjectively. If your story doesn't fit her style of writing, or she doesn't like you, she will give you lower grades even if you do a good job. Don't let her discourage you, though.

This class made me not want to work in magazines. It was so boring. Ann is a super nice lady. She just isn't very personable and will make it clear she isn't here to be your buddy. The tests are like Magazine Trivia 101--no matter how much you study, you'll guess on half the questions. Not a hard class. Show up, do the work and you'll survive.

She's nice enough, but she keeps the same creepy expression on her face no matter what the situation, which has led to my theory that she is secretly a robot. Plus, her tests are ridonkulous. They're like those high school biology tests that expected you to name the number of mitochondria in your adrenal glands or some****.
