Dr. Shaver is amazing! A well of knowledge! Huge coffee lover like myself, but that can also cause her to go on tangents frequently. Expect to actually read the chapters, provides powerpoint notes but still need to take lecture notes. 2 papers. Tests are of moderate difficulty and she gives several options for extra credit!

Great teacher. She likes to talk a lot and ramble on with stories but they're usually interesting. Pay attention in class and you'll most likely pass the tests, just study as well.

She goes off tangent alot but if you go to class, pay attention and take good notes you will definitely pass. we only had to do two or three papers. and i think three or four tests including the final. her tests are not hard if you pay attention in class, you won't be able to find everything in the book so be sure to take good notes.

Go to class. Put together a study guide with what she posts on blackboard. Study the study guides and go to class for lectures and you'll be completely fine. Great teacher even though she gets off topic quite often

Dr. Shaver USED to be a great professor. I've had her before and it was great. Now she is so disorganized and just does everything on a whim. We had 1 test instead of 4 and 2 research article presentations that had no mention in the syllabus. Don't ever bother with due dates. We were half way through the semester before we even took our first test.

Dr. is one of the most informative, dedicated and knowledgeable professors that I have ever had at Fairmont State. I have had her for two courses and was amazed at her level of clinical understanding and insight. She goes out of her way to be helpful but also has very strict standards.

Dr. Ann is a brilliant psychologist, but not a brilliant teacher. She's very scattered and all over the place. Her tests are very hard and what she calls a study guide is just a bunch of words meshed together. The way she grades papers doesn't make sense. Just go to class, read the book, study what you can, and the rest is luck.

All i have to say is that I have never had a C in my life and i got my only ones in her class. Shes not only scattered she is hyped up on coffee. Her test were not hard at all but the answers she wanted were not the right answers and she got upset if you showed her in the book that what she wanted was wrong.

Loved the class and she made it easy to go to at 8 in the morning. Great teacher, funny and the level of work was really low. I mean we watched videos and got points for worksheets...hello high schoolers do that!

I was looking forward to taking this class but I was very disappointed with it. she is disorganized, annoying, and never grades anything. This class should have been so much better. I walked away from it with nothing but disappointment.
