Do Not Take Steen!! She was the most incomprehensive math professor I have ever taken. She doesn't give good notes at all. Her tests are hard and she never has a lesson plan set up for class she just comes in and wings it. Too disorganized for my taste and unwilling to help students.

Ignore every negative comment. She is an outstanding professor and is actually very organized. She gives you a cheat sheet to bring to your exam and also allows to you look at the exam the class before the test for 5 minutes therefore there should be no reason to fail her tests. I definitely recommend her!

She is a good teacher and does a good job explaining the content. You have to attend class or you will miss critical information. Her tests are very hard (hard to finish in the time allotted) but if you do the homework you will be fine. The tests are multiple choice and you get to use a cheat sheet. I would take her again. Professor Steen makes the material easy to undarstand. She is helpful and nice. On tests you are able to use a cheat sheet, therefore you don't have to memorize, learn equations. I highly recomend professor steen! :)

Mrs. Stten is an awsome teacher. She lets you use a check sheet for all exams!! Their are no tricks on her test. They are just striaght forward. She gives lots of extra credit oppertunities. Take her and you will pass with at least a B.

Ms. Steen was a great math teacher. She lets you use cheat sheets which definitely help on your quizzes and tests. She allows you to either drop all of your quizzes or your lowest test score. Homework is not mandatory, but it helps you learn. She gives you extra credit for perfect attendance prior to each test.

Steen is not necessarily difficult but she's definately not easy. You do receive extra credit for being in class everyday, her notes are slightly helpful and homework assignments are not for a grade. Although, during the end of the semester, she was definately confusing, but she'll answer many questions that you ask of her.
