Anna is really amazing. She cares so much for her students and makes sure were always doing okay. She is really passionate about her job and is so generous. Shes always interacting with students and clearly wants the best for us all. Papers are written weekly but theres clear guidelines and theyre easy to follow and pass. Definitely recommend.

10/10 recommend this class. It is a lot of work because it is a reading class. But here is the kicker, NO GRADES! She does contract grading where you commit to doing a certain amount of work. Meet the basic criteria and your assignment counts. Love it! 1 discussion post and book report per week. A few papers, no tests.

Contract grading means you choose the grade you plan to work for at the beginning of the semester and sign the contract. Stay on top of the due dates. Lots of tech, which was awesome. Goodreads groups, Blackboard groups, Group project - for an online class Anna really tries to create a community. Loved this course.

Anna is an amazing professor. She is very caring and wants you to pass. She does contract grading, where you can sign up for a certain grade and complete the work that comes along with it. Must attend class to pass however, class is usually discussion with the whole class and Anna which makes class interesting and fun

Please, please, PLEASE don't listen to the previous reviews. Anna is a wonderful teacher and person, and I would highly recommend taking creative writing with her. She's super passionate about the subject, and shares her wisdom with all of her students. Highly recommend!

I don't understand what all the other reviews are about; Anna is an amazing professor that carefully picked resources, textbooks, and assignments to help us learn as future teachers. Although attendance isn't mandatory, you'll miss a lot of important information and instructions. Be ready for a LOT of easy reading . Easy class if you do the work.

This should be counted for a CMST considering how many times we have to talk & present. For a freshman class, there is way too much work. She is horrible at explaining & expects papers to be done within just a couple of days after assigning it. Wasn't helpful during OH at all too. Avoid her and the ucourse at all costs. Beware of the "yalls."

I'm in the ENGL POLS U-course and I really don't recommend taking it, There is a ton of reading, a ton of writing and almost completely wasted class time. It seems like they have never taught before the way they plan their assignments. We have a 5,000 word essay due in 2 and a half weeks, and they make 3,000 words due 4 days after assigning it.

I was disappointed with my grade in the class because I feel like if it was not online I would have done better. She has a strict no late work policy. I didn't have much experience with online classes so I missed a few assignment deadlines and she would not accept anything late. Also you reread the same theories all semester through different books

Anna is not helpful what so ever. She is rude to students. She expects you to already know the material and if you don't she will make you feel like an idiot. She is annoying with lectures and will always say "y'all" so be ready to be annoyed. This class is so pointless. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I TAKE IT, EVEN IF THEYH PAYED ME!!! STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!!

Good teacher, very knowledgeable and helpful. A lot of reading and writing, but that is expected when it comes to an English course. Rather easy class but you have to put forth the effort. Has group projects in this class which can be difficult.

She is arrogant,self-important, and belittles you as a writer and student. Gives no room for missing class or late assignments. Will not make exceptions for any reason. Course itself and reading material is not horrible, but she made it miserable. Always show up and turn in all work & you'll be fine - just don't expect to enjoy her class.

Professor Moore is passionate about what she teaches, but doesn't react well to different opinions. There are a lot of assignments, but both of the classes I've taken with her there were only 100 points possible & not a lot of room for error. If possible, take the class online rather than in person, but neither one is terrible. A LOT of reading too

Anna is amazing and passionate about what she teaches. Such a genuine and real professor overall. The class is easy and passable as long as you do all your work and not miss class. The subjects we cover are truly interesting. I recommend this class hands down.
