Comment:

Dr. Clark is a very nice woman and clearly passionate about Animal Behavior. Be warned that Animal behavior may not be what you think it is. If you want to learn about domesticated animals, this is not the class. We mainly studied invertebrates and animals I generally don't care about. Her lectures are quite boring but there are no tests.

Loved taking this class. Super nice lady! Gets a bit behind on grading and doesn't give grades for a lot of the work you do. Overall a great class just lots and lots of reading.

The course was great. ABC is a great teacher. Before this class, I was never really interested in parasites. I'm interested in studying more about them. She's very laid back, and very understanding. But that does not mean go to class. She knows who skips. She's very approachable. She will help you if you need it.

Although she is soft-spoken, Dr. Clark is a passionate, strong-willed professor who is well versed in her field. This class was based off of participation in class discussions and commentaries about scientific readings and a review paper. It is clear that she acknowledges the people who put in the effort for this class.

If you have the opportunity to take Behavioral Ecology of Primates with Dr. Clark, I HIGHLY recommend you do so. She's passionate and very knowledgeable, so come to class prepared to talk. No tests, but most of your grade comes from (1) papers, and (2) participation, so you owe it to yourself to go and put in the effort.

ABC is a fantastic professor. I took two classes with her this semester and both were my favorite classes. She encourages reading scholarly articles and thinking in novel ways. She employs my favorite attitude, do the work, read the material, and we'll all be happy. I am only sad she is all filled up for next semester.

Dr. Clark is simply REMARKABLE. One of the best professors I've had at BU. Attend lecture/lab, do the assigned reading and start your term paper EARLY so you can seek extra help. There's absolutely no reason to do poorly in this class.

Animal Behavior is laid back. We get weekly quizzes and no tests, so this is a discussion/ listen to her talk a little kind of class. Huge paper for 50 percent of the grade though. Clark is passionate and very knowledgeable.

Took behavior with her and in the process of primates - she is passionate and dedicated, always comes prepared for class, and expects a lot from students. Don't expect to get by without reading and coming to lecture. Assigns LOTS of readings and is frustrated when much of the class doesn't do them. Excellent overall, highly recommend...

Throughout the year the class was laid back, and all you had to do was sit and learn. Clark is clear, passionate, and kind in her teacher, and was overall fun to listen to. Pretty much the whole grade relied on the big paper at the end, of which had no guidance. It made it very hard and didn't reflect the effort made during the rest of the semester

Nice person, showed interest in material. Good notes, but test questions can be tricky. Attend lecture for pop quizzes. Also, some material covered in lecture and discussion may not be from the textbook readings, but may show up on exams. Curve was good enough.

This class was absolutely ridiculous. The tests are difficult, unclear, and unfair. Professor Clarke makes you study numerous chapters only to have a few on the test. Don't take this class unless you want to major in Psychobiology, Biological Sciences or some other form of Science. Do NOT take this class for the Gen Ed L. It's no joke.

Clark is awesome! She is an amazing professor with a real interest, not only in her subject matter, but in her students as well. She is not an overly emotional person and does not respond well to that sort of thing; however, that is not to say that she is cold-hearted, to the contrary, she is just a tough read. Like Animal Behavior? TAKE HER!!

Dr. Clark is a great professor. She has a genuine interest in her subject matter and makes the lectures interesting. I absolutely loved her class. If you can catch her during her office hours she is always willing to answer questions and she has a genuine interest in her students doing well.
