She is unnecessarily mean to her students. She does not care what you have to say, she just wants to hear herself talk. I was so interested in this class and she ruined it so hardcore. I would rather Doreski over her, which is saying a lot.

Professor Mallon is without a doubt THE toughest teacher I've ever had. She does alienate students and she DOES sarcastically respond to students. That being said she knows her stuff...but she is terrifying,

Mallon is a tough professor but as long as you do what you're supposed to you will not fail. I've never learned so much from a professor before. She does call on you but just answer her! Don't say idk. She isn't trying to trick you either so don't try to figure out her question. She means what she says. If assignments are unclear just ask her!

She is surely one of the most difficult teachers I have had by far. She is passionate about the subject that she teachers. She does alienate her students and is very (rudely) sarcastic to her students. She is very repetitive. The work she assigns, the instructions, are VERY poorly written. She does get upset about citing, cite correctly.

Without a doubt, Dr. Mallon is one of the hardest professors I've encountered here. But she is so passionate about what she teaches that she gets us interested as well. I know that I will never look at a text again without thinking of her techniques. Great class, makes me think.

Mallon's hip there's no use in denying it. She has a passion for the act of teaching that is almost unparallel. She absolutely prepares you for any other professor you could possibly encounter and makes you a stronger student as a result.

Professor Mallon is definitely one of the hardest professors I have ever taken, she really makes students think. If you really care about literature and want to learn to look it at new ways, this is the teacher for you. If you're just looking for a passing grade, go somewhere else. Extremely helpful and funny, I loved her.

First a correction: Her name is Anne-Marie Mallon. I prefer to use her title of Dr. There are not enough positive adjectives known to begin to sum up Dr. Mallon. She is tough, fair, helpful, compassionate, passionate, smart, witty. I am a male, was her advisee and love and respect Dr. Mallon. She will help you to understand but YOU must do the WORK

She degrated me in front of the entire class on a couple of different occasions. I asked her a question, and she replied with extreme sarcasm and made me feel dumb. Her grading is very unfair because she bases it on what she herself would have written, even if it is an opinion assignment. The worst teacher I have ever had.

An amazing teacher yet very difficult. But also a pioneer. The frist Lesbian & Gay class ever taught at KSC, I believe (and I got to be there for it). Astounding. She's a tough one!

OMG!..You think you are doing well and everything is good, until she gives you a C as your grade. She is very condesending and her tests are hard because of all the plays you have to know and you have to read aloud to the class, with acting involved. It's a good class, but bad teacher!
