At first, this class seemed as if it was going to be overwhelming for me. But by the end of the semester, I learned so much about myself and the actual coursework she had us reading. Although what we were reading was a bit off of topic from the actual class, it was very interesting. She's an easy grader and there is room to boost your grade.

She's just boring and annoying. She's wayyyyy to into it. She feels like her class is YOUR first priority. She's so nice and if you ask her for help she's there. She does have some easy projects it's not hard to pass but it's time consuming.

The work seems endless and impossible in the beginning of the semester. You will regret taking her. She is an extremely tough grader but once you understand what she wants, you will do much better. I got a few C's on homework assignments until I learned what she wanted. The class became much easier once I understood exactly what she wanted.

The homework in the first half of the semester is intense, but lightens toward the end. Her grading is tough, but make use of her comments on all assignments to get the hang of how she grades. Participate in class, try to be there, and do ALL HW! E.C. makes a difference too! Try hard and by the end of the course, you'll probably like her, I did!

Homework assignment every night that goes along with 2 hours of reading from the textbook. If you don't participate she notices, and marks you down for it. She also clearly shows favorites, and once you start to participate you can get on her good side. The midterm, final paperpresentation, and final exam count for 45% of your grade.

Not a horrible teacher but her grading is very bias. You have to write the papers in her opinion that she favors not what you think. And if she doesn't like you the class will not be fun

She comes off as nice. Don't trust it. She's a hard grader and expects you to do a ton of work. She is the definition of being a professor who thinks her class is the only class you have. DO NOT take her unless its a last resort.

She's awesome! She knows her stuff very well and if you put the effort into the class, you will get a lot out of it. Class participation is a MUST. She may come off as mean at first but once you get to know her she's a great person and teacher. If you want to learn, take this class.

I like history and I like teachers that push me and work you but this teacher is awful. For the first two weeks we had a substitute. That's fine but she sent contradictory e-mails and demanded way too much out of students that she was never really there to demand anything from. Also her ability to use blackboard was extremely unhelpful.

History and Education books? Yes, but it shows how it goes hand in hand. You can tell that she's very passionate about her teachings. Comes off as "mean" if you give your opinion about history because she will have her opinion on something she has close to heart. Her study guides were EXACTLY what would be on the test which was very helpful too.

She was an amazing professor. Yes, she requires you to do alot of reading and alot of work, but she is always ready to help you. She was very interesting as a person and I really enjoyed her class. Yes, she does demand you to go to class and get your work done, but isn't that what college is about

If you like professors that criticize and belittle their students, she is the one for you. although towards the end of the semester and of the mayhem (mountains of reading and a paper due everyday) it made sense (A LITTLE). Two books are used, one is entirely focus on education, the other is just us history (waste). God speed if you have her.

She makes you learn everything entirely from reading the books. You have to submit at least 2 essays every class. The work is so overwhelming and she will always say she is right even when she isn't. She will take points off of anything she can. Worst professor I have ever had.

History was never my favorite subject but the assignments she gives have actually help me get interested. She is funny and enjoys group discusions and tries to get everyone in the class involved. If you don't try to stay active in class my will probably be really bored. She gives a lot of work and reading but the work isn't super hard.

a terrible teacher. She will tell you you are wrong even when right. she argues with the class and makes the material more confusing then it has to be. I ended up getting a B but only because i got a 100 on the final presentation that i worked very hard on

The information she teaches is great.She gives a lot of extra work that's very interesting and relates to the class. HOWEVER, she teaches and conducts the class as if it were an elementary class. She speaks to the students as if they were 10yrs old. It's insulting & quite annoying to be in her class.

Thought this class was pretty easy and interesting. Just do ever assignment and you will get an A in the class. Everyone has to do a presentation that is worth 15% of your grade, and she is very easy on grading it. Take her if you need History of American Education.
