Professor is kind, funny, and understanding of all viewpoints. Reading text materials is recommended. Midterm and exams for GSW courses are open-book and open-notes. Participation is recommended. Papers are somewhat stressful, but you can ask for help or advice. One of my favorite professors at this campus.

Wasn't planning on taking this course in the beginning but I mean she called it Angels and Wh-res! Not to mention I had her for English 102, she really is an awesome teacher and really encourages class discussion. She gives plenty of time to complete assignments (sometimes over a month) however it might take you a few weeks to get it back.

Incredibly unhelpful, if you're a male. She flings around her feminism and reluctantly helps male students. Picks favorites, and goes out of her way to critique* papers. Be sure to get "help" before you turn in your papers or you will fail.

I liked her as a teacher, but I can understand where everyone is coming from. She definitely does pick favorites, and if you aren't one of then then you will struggle in her class, bad. She also is moody so you have to approach her at a good time.

Definitely picks favorites and grades according. Offers help but when you go and talk to her she offers no help. I had to do figure it out myself because she wouldn't help me. I would suggest avoiding any class where she is a teacher. She is snobby and extremely rude. She is the definition of what a teacher shouldn't be.

The papers she gave out lacked direction. She simply said what she did not want and went on to say "don't waste my time." It would have been helpful for her to tell us what she was looking for or actually help us when asked instead of turning us away. Her classes are a waste of time. She is a horrible teacher and very arrogant.

Best Prof ever had. Extremely helpful. Required to read before class, come prepared & participate. Not too much to ask since we are in college... FAIR grading scale, since you can have your paper reviewed by her or others, sometimes she even lets you rewrite. Strongly recommend.
