She is the nicest teacher and really willing to discuss anything with any student. When she says an acronym, always right it down and know what it is. She hates it when people just google acronyms because they are often wrong

I don't understand most of these comments...professor Clear was a wonderful teacher; I don't think I would have learned nearly so much without her. Her lectures were concise, helpful, and easy to understand, and she is helpful and funny. Her name pretty much sums up who she is: clear. Great class, I'd recommend it to anyone interested in politics.

Very interesting class. Maybe I just really love politics classes, but i feel like the information from that class was well worth the challenge of reading so much. Annette is also very very nice, except to people who fall asleep.

I've taken two classes with Annette and wouldn't reccommend her. She can be knowledgable at times, but she's extremely dull and is one of the most biased professors at SC. The material can be extremely repetative, and the exams also tend to be a lot longer than they should be (most people take the entire 3hrs for the final).

she is a really good teacher really. She makes the class super interesting. I never read but i got a pretty good grade on the midterm because her lectures give all the information. Her lectures are really well organized too. She is really nice well at least in sov/int.

I really enjoy her class. I know no one else has said that on here yet but I think that she's really interesting. She's really accomplished and knows what she's talking about. Then again, i'm not afraid of challenging classes, midterms, readings, assignments, or finals.

Everytime someone asks me about this class I always tell them to run the other way...yet they keep enrolling. Lectures were awful. Readings--freaking awful. I spent 10 weeks reading about the "glocal ecomony" or "the ethnoscape". You must have a photograpy memory for the midterms and a crystal ball.

Class was boring, repetative of readings; she's a nice person outside of class but as a lecturer she's not so gr8. Tests are graded way too hard; it's impossible to get full credit on an ID and makes you memorize the authors from which the IDs came from. Semes like she only knows bout the UN...=/

I was hesitant to take anything Clear said seriously after the first day when she claimed the United States was the most population nation in the world. The readings were dense and she did not make any clarification in lecture...the TAs didn't help eithe
