What? The above responses are all WRONG! This is one of the best professors yet. An incredible musician and teacher. He knows his stuff. I have learned so much from him and love his classes. Having him join the music department was the best move this school made.

The worst ever!! He is a musical JOKE, take everything he says with a grain of salt and then make fun of him with your friends over a beer. He can't play, he can't teach, he is a waste of space in a crowded university

Actually, first comment listed is appropriate. Out of touch, dated, elitest, ego-driven - also fit into personality. Terrible memory so if you talk to him, document everything said and agreed upon. Never ask what 3:2 clave is - will play "clapping music" or something. Future of IU Percussion questionable except for one person - Steve Houghton.
