this professor is fine for class because he makes the course very easy. the first half of class is a lecture and the other half a movie (the movies arent even on the exams so you can leave after signing the attendance sheet.) do great on his quizzes and that will reflect your final grade. attending lecture is smart but again easy class.

The first hour and a half is a lecture and the second half is a movie. I barely showed up, this class is really easy but theres not a lot to help even out grades so do well on his quizzes.

This was such a great class! D'Augelli is really funny during class and makes a lot of jokes, but really doesn't like it when people talk during class. If you see him outside of class, like in his office, he's really professional and not funny like when he's in class. His slides were bad - don't copy everything! Read the book + exam study guides.

I am not sure that everyone else had the same class that I did, The class was graded unfairly, he couldn't even make his own class slides and the one TA was one of the most condescending people I have ever met. Also there was a huge amount of favoritism toward the openly gay students in the class. Don't take this class.

It is a really interesting class... the grading kinda sucks but it isnt too bad. You must stay the whole 3 hours but the time is split up half lecture half movie so you might sleep during the movie. But i would recomend it!

This class is VERY entertaing, and believe it or not, you learn stuff too. I learned a lot. Half of the class is lecture, the other half is a film. It is 3 hours, but it goes by very quickly. Anybody remotely interested in the lives of gays, lesbians, and bisexuals will like this course. Not much work, lotta thinking, discussion, prof is great.

Great class! Great movies! Yes, you will need to stay the whole 3 hours, and you do get a 15 min break. I wish I could take it again because the subject matter changes everyday. I will agree the TA's did seem a bit standoffish, but once you talk with them they were fine (I found).

I loved this class. It was one of the best classes I had every taken. The information that was given was very interesting. There are many statistics thrown at you but most you really don't need to know. He will even tell you this. The tests are clear and the papers you need to do are more opinion and what you learned. I recommend taking!

i love that people sign up for a 3 hour class and then whine because the class is 3 hours. The class is wonderful, too many statistics are thrown your way, but the material is easy to handle and the tests are simple. lots of paper to write that were mostly BS. thats the biggest down of the class.

I don't know what these people are talking about, but the class is horrible. The TA's have some sort of chip on their shoulder and grade like it's grad school. The professor also keeps you there for the WHOLE three hours with maybe a five min break. It sucks.
