Able to render accessible complex organic chem concepts. I found him caring and funny. Great stories. Has a soft spot for runners. Don't cross talk during class, or you may unfortunately discover his temper. I loved the guy.

Currently my Orgo1 Lab prof. Makes lab fun & not stressful. First awesome chem lab experience. Has built up my confidence alot. You wont dread lab days with Lotempio. He's funny and keeps it interesting but is also super helpful and really cares that you understand the material. Expecting high A.

Papa Lotempio is a great guy, hes been teaching here probono. Also, tests are incredibly fair as he uploads last years exam the week before so you can practice. If you read the text book, go to class, study notes, solid A. The class is not hard and he is not out to trick you on tests or quizzes. Lets you drop two tests and the final is optional.

Did poorly, but it was because it was 8:30 class. Attendance is a MUST! When I did go however he was very clear when teaching. His voice will definitely wake you up. Tests are tedious and long. Go to his office hours if you can because it helps a lot.

Absolutely hilarious professor! Great stories! Study a lot, not an easy class. Do everything he assigns you and look at example from notes and old tests he gives you. This is the majority of his tests. Great guy, lectures were fun! I took the summer class so everything went very fast but he was very understanding of our circumstances.

I love Lotempio, he's hilarious. Lectures are VITAL. Do the book assignments for extra practice. I find this course relatively easy, but I feel like it's also kind of difficult to keep all the rules of nomenclature and reactions straight. The quizzes are doable, the tests you need to be prepared for, labs are kind of a pain. Great, enjoyable class.

If you study his notes and do the HW probs meticulously, you should get at LEAST get a B. LoTempio's lectures are clear, funny and AWESOME. Orgo requires you to have a brain that comprehends space & structure. If you don't have this type of brain, Orgo is probably not for you; you shouldn't blame LoTempio for a talent you do not possess.

Professor Lotempio helped me throughout Chem 102. With his assistance I passed the class. He is very helpful. If you care about your grade so do he. He only comes off as difficult to those that are looking for an easy A. His stories are funny, you could learn a lot from him, and it is NOT difficult to get an A..Just work hard.

Funny stories...buy waaay off topic. Yelled at a girl for using the bathroom today. Told another student he was "way smarter" than she was. Very rude. Practically useless if you have a question...unless you want him to tell you you're wrong and you need to study better. Horrible. He's like the Grinch with a heart three sizes too small.

LoTempio is old and bitter. He does not answer e-mails and smells like moth balls. He's funny as hell but is really hard. If you want to get an A work your ass off.He's not very helpful and will fail you in a heart beat. He has no soul and worships the devil.

organic chem 2 is so hard to begin with, and although prof. lotempio is a pretty entertaining and knowledgable lecturer, he is not at all approachable or helpful to students who have any questions not pertaining to practice problems. his lectures are fun, but he makes it very easy to fail the class as well.
