Extremely boring class, constant reading that is almost never talked about again in class. Very akaward guy. I ended up withdrawling due to the pop quizzes dragging my grade down.

His class can be pretty boring, but he really knows his subject material and enjoys teaching it. He's also a pretty funny guy.

He doesn't seem very approachable at first, but he actually reached out to me at the end of the semester when I wasn't doing very well and ended up being a huge help. He's quiet and kind of a dull lecturer, but he really is a very nice man and he cares deeply about what he teaches.

DO NOT TORTURE YOURSELF AND TAKE THIS CLASS. There is a lot of reading assigned and many pop quizzes that kill your grade. Not many tests or papers but you better give yourself at least like 25 hours to prepare for the exams that he gives. Extremely tough. I would recommend not taking this class early in the morning because it is a boring topic.

Personally, this guy is probably the best teacher in college I have ever had. Although his class is extremely challenging, he was undeniably helpful and always had time to come help me. He drove to Hope on a Sunday evening to print off my paper and read it because his printer did not work. Overall, I definitely recommend him as a professor.

Don't really know how to feel about this guy. For someone who has pop quizzes you would think he would ask less detail oriented questions. He comes of as dull at first but grows on you with his humor. I would say there are many varying opinions about this guy

ughhh. boring material, boring professor. He thinks this is the greatest, most interesting stuff in the world--but it does not translate to how he teaches it. Not recommended.

At first you may think he's boring, but he's actually very funny! He made a lot of random references to pop culture which made a normally boring class fun. I would definitely recommend him. Also, he WANTS you to do well in class & is willing to help you.

At first, you might think Perovich is boring. He'll grow on you. He's very funny, kind, and an excellent teacher. I found him to be tremendously helpful and understanding. Definitely one of my favorite Prof's at Hope now.

Perovich is a very cool guy. Someone working in Lubbers told me he reads the tabloids every day while listening to his classical music. Gotta stay up on the Britney news I suppose. Also, less time I spent studying, the better I did for some reason. Learned a lot though.

Really nice guy but very dry. It was hard to listen to him for even the 50 min class. Helpful and lenient on papers. Only assignments were reading and 4 papers.

This was my first class with Perovich. He is definitely a gem in the Philosophy Dept. I don't know how he is in other classes, but he definitely makes the material interesing in this one. I think 19th Cen. Phil, Phil of Mind, and Modern Phil are probably the best classes to take w/ him.

don't take ancient philosophy at 8:30am with this man...very dry, dry sense of humor, hard to stay awake often. tests were ok though, straight out of the notes.
