I took her 40A & 40C in '07 & aced all my exams/tests. I had to push myself to grasp & correlate the concepts studied because her class is NOT about "why" but "what." Memorization is what it takes to do well here. Too bad our ed sys puts many teachers in auto-pilot mode, underestimating the power of laziness and complacency at play in human psyche!

I've been taking her for over a year now and I have to say she's by far the best and the nicest science teacher I have ever encountered here at De Anza. She's clear, helpful and just overall a very nice and friendly lady. I think she's funny with her random rants sometimes and her anatomy t-shirts she wears, awsome awsome teacher. Take her!!

Just read her notes and the lab book then you will be fine. I didn't read the text book at all and I still got an A. Everything you need to know for the test are all in her notes and the lab book. She's very clear and is a very nice lady.

I just finished the series. She's a sweet teacher, but honestly, not the best at teaching the material. She seems to have difficulty explaining some topics. Class is an easy A if you put time into it. Practicals are really really easy.

She was a great instructor! In comparison to Annen she was intresting and straight forward with her lectures. I actually understood what she was saying. The tests were fair in regards to the study guides that she provided. Granted you did have to work hard to get an A, lots of memorization is needed! Wish she taught microbiology & nutrition!

Her lectures are very clear, my previous two anatomy/physiology professors were totally unorganized and her lectures were very easy to follow. She makes her lectures available in the bookstore or online which is nice. The tests are straightforward, with study guides.

I think she is a great teacher. I don't want anybody getting the impression that this class is a cake walk. Yeah, it's easier than most A & P classes, but you need to be good at memorization. She gives study guides for lec and lab well in advance. Lec is 50 mult. choice. no trick questions. Lab- spelling counts Good teacher-not a waste of time.

I took Annen before hand and had to drop. Annen was very good, and thorough, but if you haven't had much previous chem and bio you can get lost. Then I took Prof. Lucklock and I did so much better. I disagree that you don't have to study for the practicals much, because unlike Annen, Lucklock does not give you a spelling key! Great teacher!

Easy to get A. She gives study guide. All her lecture notes are printed and you can buy in 8 dollars. Though you miss her classes and study from lectur notes. you will get easy A. She gives you study guide for midterm and final. Her practicals are so easy and you can get 100% on her practicals easily. she is easier than kondula believe me.
