remember his joke about spending the nights grading our tests with his friend Jack Daniels .... PHYS 151 was easier that PHYS 152 for some unknown reason ...the labs should have been writing intensive courses

I graded homework for this guy's class for 2 years, so I have more of an insider's perspective. He requires students to work hard, but grades well and fair. He's always willing to help students, assuming they've made an effort on their own. Unlike most profs, he cares more about teaching than his own research. Nice guy with a sense of humor.

I liked the class but I had taken physics before. If you already have a grasp on mechanics the class should be easy

I've taken his class twice, and gotten D's both times when I need a C or higher to move on. Good professor, knows his stuff, and spends a lot of time on homework. Bad side is tons of homework (two types, online and turn in), and really rough exams. >50% the class BOTH times I've taken it gets F's on the third exam. Even with curve.

He was an okay professor overall. Things that bugged me though is that he was just rushing through the material and never reviewed for his exams, he just taught new material. Gave out hw, which will help ur grade (obviously if u do it), and clicker for more points as well.

Great guy overall! Well prepare. He is old and deaf! means he knows his stuff. His class is fun. He uses i-clicker in class, ask you some stupid questions, but some are important! He is helpful. Gave you solution for every CH to help you study. His exam is fairly easy. Just get ready before class, use the solution, study, you MUST be OK!

Not a poor professor, but his class was hard and he didn't really seem to care about students' questions. I heard the other professor was kinder.

I've taken physics multiple times trying to get above a C-, Feldman was the only one I got a B from. He's the only one who offers partially multiple choice tests. Material requires studying by default but I recommend him if you cant get into Sattler's class.

Ah what can I say, Feldman is a cool prof. Took him for 170 so I know how he operates. The trick for him is to do all the hw he assigned and then study a few days before exam. You'll get at least a B from him. The best thing about him is that the final exam is NOT cumulative.

Prof. Feldman is awesome. He does help students but you have to already know some thing before going to see him. This is my first time taking his class and he's so good that I'm gonna take him again for Phys 272.

He moves extremely fast so be ready to work or to take the class a second time. If you last till the end of the semester youll see about half the class has dropped out. He'll help you, but out of class he's just a cranky old man. The only reason im getting an A or B is because its the second time im taking the course.

Good lecturer and has a sense of humor. He always offers to help students. Although he moves fast through chapters and it is real hard to keep up with him. You need to work extra, extra hard or take his class more than once to get a B or an A is this class.

1 chapter a week, you just have to study...I highly recommend the supplemental study guide. Don't even bother going to him for help, he will just tell you what you already know and never answer any questions. Go to class and study a lot on your own, you should be okay. If you can, I would take Sattler though.

I took Calc III with this class and a week after learning a new calculus concept, we were applying it in physics. Very fast paced class, the other Phys 170 class (by a different professor) was constantly 2-4 chapters behind us. If you care about your GPA, avoid Feldman.

Dr. Feldman knows the material that he's teaching and is a good professor. He is clear and direct about the material that he wants you to know for his exams. However he can be somewhat cold and distant when you go to get help.

Horrible teacher, constantly making mistakes and having students correct his examples. He doesn't teach anything but examples. Class consist of examples from the book test are 20 mc and 3 problems. Horrible class, I would not recommend him.TAKE NASSIR
