This professor is by far one of the best ive had. From the start of the class he was caring and understanding. If I had the opportunity to take this class over I would. He was a easy grader. there was a clear expectation of what was need from you. a total of 4 speeches are required, He give you a broad topic and then lets you get creative.

Best class Ive taken so far. One of the best professors to take! Have loved this class. This class not only helps you become a better speaker but gives you an opportunity to have very intellectual conversation. Non verbal communication was my favorite part. If you complete the work you should pass. He give you an opportunity to resubmit work.

Prof. Wood was a great teacher. All of the learning content is posted online. He shares example work making it clear what is expected of you. Cares about your grade. I missed one week of discussion post and he emailed me to turn it in anyway for some credit. I was going to accept the zero. Do the work he assigns and you'll be good to go.

I took this class last year but forgot to write a review. I informed professor Wood of my extreme anxiety and he worked with me to overcome it. I dont think Ill ever have a better professor. Hes incredibly intelligent and kind. Take him if you have the opportunity! You will learn and grow. Youll want to go to class.

Best Professor! Professor Wood wants you to succeed and he makes sure that you get the best grade that you can get. He cares for his students and he gives great feed back. I've taken several online classes however this is the first online class that the professor commented on each and every assignment which was a plus for me because it allowed me to better myself each week. Professor Wood is a great professor , mainly because he is very passionate about teaching or " developing minds" as he would say. Prof wood was a great choice for speech class! We had great discussion boards which helped to break the ice and be comfortable with classmates for giving speeches. His assignments are straight forward and he is always reachable by email plus he gives great feedback. You can work at your own pace by working ahead. Highly recommend taking him! BS10

I held off taking public speaking for 3 years and taking this class made me wonder why. He is the best teacher Iv ever had and ever will have. He is extremely fair and you could not ask anything more of a teacher. He makes everyone feel comfortable and If I could I would take him for every single class. Just finished Professor Wood's online class, and I very much enjoyed it. It's sometimes hard to make a connection w/your professor when you take an online class, but I found that he does connect w his students; I also felt a connection to others in class. The class is not as easy as people might think it is! Don't leave work for last minute! YH55
