con-law is amazing! His multifacted teaching method in this class keeps motivation peeked. Whether Preparing briefs, holding mock panels, or working with his diverse and superiorly planned out list of crucial con-law cases, the opportunity to experience the power of the judiciary is offered no where else in academia like it is here. Dr. Paulson is tough but simply brilliant. He will teach you alot but it comes wih the price of discipline and effort. So if you're not serious about learning you probably should take a fluff professor.But if you're serious and want a last chance at receiving an Ivy league type education than take his classes...Seriously!

He likes to yell in the middle of a lecture; not that it's a bad thing- he's just really passionate about what he teaches. Nice guy, I missed the final due to the flu and he was more than willing to accommodate a retake or incomplete. Notes are a little hard to take, but he makes the subject matter pretty interesting. Good professor.

Probably one of the best instructors I had all through college! Loved the class and his lectures were always so relevant, so interesting. I don't remember if he yelled, but he sure seemed to love the subject he was teaching, so he would get really involved with the topic.

Incredible Professor. He took a subject I truly love and made it so much more interesting. He opens you up to a wide variety of world views, and lets you sort them out on your own, rather then tell you which is the "right" one. I strongly reccomend him.

Paulson was a fair professor. As a freshman taking the class I felt like a lot of the other students were older and more knowledgeable, but I studied hard and tried to do well. I came out with a decent grade but not the grade I wished to receive. Overall Paulson's class wasn't demanding, but is kinda hard if you're clueless in the subject.

Very strange, he likes to yell in the middle of class for no apparent reason. You do't have to got to class b/c he doesn't take attendence & the suff he talks about in class has nothing to do w.the test. If you read the books/knoe political science well you'll do fine.
