Terrible teacher. Yells when upset. Is upset all the time. If you tell him your struggling or don't understand something, he tells you to drop the class and take MATH 70 or whatever that remedial math class is.

Prof. Daniel is a joke. He is absolutely the worst professor I ever had. Do not take this class if you actually want to pass. He does not explain anything, and does not use the book very much. Half the time, no one know what he is talking about. He does give easy tests and take home quizzes, but I will never take another class with this guy.

He doesn't follow the book. Don't even bother buying a finite book (115 dollars I wasted) i think he is probably gonna retire soon he is like 78 or something

Took an online class with him. I can totally see why people don't like his teachings but I only dealt with him 5 times before I got my grade. He's very generous about giving EXTRA CREDIT, and will curve grades. If you are independent this class is definitely for you.

worst prof at macomb. talks about hotels and his family 80% of the time during class. he doesnt teach well at all. on the few times where i knew what i was doing the stuff was easy but he doesnt teach you how to do it. you gotta go to the tutors to learn the stuff. i cant say this enough DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF. This teacher is awful! I tried to stay in the class as long as I could. He does not follow the book and has his own way to teach, which is not fair unless you understand his jibber about birds and football. I was completely frustrated and would rather take the class again over finishing with Daniels.

If you take statistics, I highly do not recommend to take it with Daniels. He'll make you laugh at him in class, but that is the only thing that will keep you awake. He is very unhelpful, he does not listen to students, and talks about his family and food through out the whole class period. And spends about 10 minutes explaining the subject.

Mr. Daniels is not a very good teacher. He tries to make everyone laugh but it doesn't work. Constantly talks about his kids and his life and not about math. The when he tests he expects you to do it the way he showed it.. yet he didn't show how to do it. I had to drop the class and lose money after 5 weeks. I do not recommend this instructor.

he's a funny old man but thats it. he doesnt explain things clearly and after a week i had to drop the class because i heard more about his son and a hotel and football than math. i retook the class with tina gustella and she is an awesome teacher. if you want a good stat teacher she is the one for you

I last a few days before I realized I didn't want to stay in his class. Stats is hard enough and he makes it much harder. Like most of the other reponses, he's more focused on telling personal stories than teaching the course. He needs to retire! If you want a good instructor-take Tina Guastella.
