It was a pleasure to be in his class, honestly learned more in his class then my first government class. He shared his life stories, and tried to make us laugh each class, those who are young students may not have gotten his jokes but i'm an older student and loved his class. got extra credit each week and free hot potato. Great Professor!!

Professor Khaligh is amazing. This is one of my weaker subject, and he made it understandable. If you show up every day to class on time and take notes, you will pass!! He is very engaging and makes lecture interesting. I didn't get the textbook. He's very organized.

Professor Khaligh is a good professor. Write everything down, he will give you keywords for essays so write those down as well. No electronics at all, record his lectures, gives you the questions so you know what will be on the exams.

Professor Asslan is awesome! The only con of his class is ABSOLUTELY NO electronics are allowed during his lecture, even laptops. But, he knows his stuff and is very passionate about his students and what he teaches. He is leaving SAC soon so take him while you can! I definitely won't forget his class. Take him seriously and bring a recorder!

Asslan is a GREAT professor, gives you notes & essays word for word, & gives the test questions as a review. You have to memorize the essay questions which really isn't that bad. If you have to miss class just let him know, he will work with you, just make sure you get the notes. textbook isn't needed. If you don't pass its your own fault. EASY A!!

The essay portions of the test will screw you up if you dont write down what he says WORD FOR WORD. He tells you the essay questions for the test and the EXACT THINGS to write down that will be right. However you need to memorize the entire question too cause the day of the test he wont even give you that! Hell just be like taxes. Funny guy tho

Asslan Khaligh's teaching style is very straight forward and easy to follow, primarily consisting of lectures and note taking (Which he literally tells you what to write), as well as some life experiences he includes within his lectures. His class was one that I will always remember, and would recommend to any one. Khaligh is an excellent professor

Tough class when it comes to Exams. You only have 4 exams no popquizzes or assignments. Just go to class EVERYDAY so you don't miss his lecture. He gives you all the notes and essay answers needed for the exams. The key is to memorize the ESSAY answers WORD for WORD. Literally because thats where the majority of your points are. Txtbk not needed.

Really enjoyed his class. Don't need the textbook, just show up to class and take notes. Everything you need is from his lectures and he will literally tell you what to write on the test questions. He only gives 4 tests throughout the semester but if you payed attention in class you'll do fine and he gives a few extra credit options.

be ready to take a whole bunch of notes. Does NOT allow people being late or ANY use of cellphones or people talking. No homework or textbook. However, tests are usually 50 multiple choice and there is a writing part. On the writing part, answer EXACTLY the way he tells you because he is a really though grader.

Professor Khaligh can be strict on attendance and requires you take notes. He literally tells you what to write down and gives you every single question on test to study. He also gives you the essay questions with the answers word for word. He has a heavy accent but its understandable. He really cares about his students and always gives extracredit

I really enjoyed this professor class. I'm not into learning about government but he made class entertaining. Always cracking jokes. If you take his course just make sure you write everything he tells you to write and pay attention. Never be late or miss class. It's an easy course just have to listen and make sure to study.

Professor is hilarious and lively. No technology allowed (computers, phones), he doesn't even use power points. He writes every topic on the board and while he lectures, he tells you exactly what to write. The notes line up exactly with tests. Downside is the only grades you have are tests, so very easy to get a low grade if you slip up once.

Great interesting Professor. His tests are difficult if you don't study. He has major lectures every class,WRITE DOWN EVERY WORD. He gives you the questions that will be on the test,Just go through lecture notes to find the answers. Study them because if you don't memorize his paragraphs he takes off points for every single error.

He tells you what to write in notes - Do NOT need textbook He's actually really nice. He gives a lot of advice and he's really funny. But just STUDY your notes. He gives you all the answers in them you just need to find them

Yeah he gives you all the questions for the tests and essay portion (FYI you have to memorize EXACTLY what he says or he will take off points), but if you happen to bomb one of his four tests, you're screwed. I made a 77, 82, 85 and a 70 and made a C in the class. He literally has no other grades. Strict on attendance. I would never take him again
