Avi is a fabulous performer and an excellent teacher. He requires of his students what he requires of himself - hard, devoted work. He is precise and demanding, but also patient when needed. He doesn't take excuses. If you want the instruction of a consummate musician, a fine pianist, and a good man, take lessons with Avi.

He is a very hard professor and your first year is always really difficult, but if you stick with it, work hard and actually care about what you are doing, he will teach you so much more than you thought you could learn. Fabulous teacher, but if you don't want to work hard and be pushed to be your best, than he isn't the teacher for you.

Great Teacher!!! He is tough but hey if this gig was easy everybody would do it right? I wish I had started taking lessons from him. Anyway I'm glad I'm there now :)

Amazing Performers don't necessarily make great teachers. Reichert is an excellent pianist but he doesn't relate well with normal people. If you are considering piano look at other schools first.

Wonderful teacher - knows a lot about technique and expression. Takes a little while to get used to, but the same can be said for any private instructor. You must be willing to work really hard, but it's worth it.
