Very nice teacher, friendly tries to be helpful but ends up being more confusing than helpful, lectures are mind numbingly boring since he goes super slow and it is hard to understand him, in addition, the labs and lectures have almost nothing to do with each other, hardest final if you didnt pay attention much in class or fell asleep. drink coffee

One of the most student friendly professors I ever had. He did what all he could do to help his students with much friendliness. He is always helpful. Have to concentrate on his homeworks, quizzes and exams. Though the subject is highly mathematical, he is at his best to help students.

His quizzes seemed to test on random obscure facts from the book. He has 6 quizzes, drops the lowest one which represents 50% of the grade (10% each.) Final was similar to the quizzes. Study hard and you shall do well. Class is daunting at first but you'll get the hang of it.

Take this class and prepare to shoot yourself. He seems like a nice guy but exams are super hard, doesn't match the homework. Doesn't give out sample exams. Has an accent and soft spoken so hard to hear at times. Oh and the book is useless...like it's hard, confusing and intimidating by design. I pray for a miracle oh the final =(

Professor made tenure during the summer of my senior project period, spring 95 through Dec 95. Was helpful during Spring; Absent, completely absent after that, missed EVERY OFFICE HOUR AND APPOINTMENT. GOT B+ FOR FINAL GRADE, DUE TO 3 MINOR ERRORS ON THESIS, IF YOUR SENIOR PROJECT DOESN'T INVOLVE DSP, IT ISN'T SQUAT..., A NICE BUT BUT A WASTE.

This man has ruined the EE department by becoming the chair. He is nice but there lurks a demon inside him. He is all about power and absolute monarchy.. THis is precisely the reason why he wanted to and has taken control of the EE dept.

Exams are ridiculous - hard, not predictable from lecture material, and nothing like the lab (which is great). He makes mistakes *everywhere* (lectures, grading). Did he ever collect homework? He said he would... Course was mis-scheduled; good thing my MW were open. Nice guy, but one of the worst profs in terms of success in learning.
