continued....he gave me a D just bc even though i had the "paragraph" about facts on our proj, i didnt write it in a boring paper. Instead, i included it with my proj to make it interactive, fun, and creative (since creativity was half the grade). Oh, and there was a 3 prof split. So nobody in our class has any idea where they stand.

He gives out a lot of random info, and you can never tell if the info he's giving is something you really need to know or if it's just another one of his random facts. Not clear about what will be on test, so our class has no idea what to study for our final. Lastly, i obv spent HOURS on a proj and it was interactive & creative. but i got a D just

Just an overall nice man. Very helpful and eager to work with you...with that said, im affraid his age shows in his classes, he often misgrades things and forgets to hand out important dates. I believe in his time he was an excellent teacher because of how positive he is...caution...avoid his wife like the plague..she teaches with him sometimes

EXTREMELY insightful professor!! Your grade consists of one research paper (6-10 pages), one group project (little research needed), one creative project (of your choice...simple), and a midterm (very difficult...). You will learn much about teaching from Brian. He's amazing and has been around the block...a few times!

Prof Glandon was one of my favorite teachers in the beginning of the year. Very Passionate and helpfull; however his boring and sometimes rambling lectures will eventually cause you to loose interest in his class. Great guy, just a boring teacher. Not very clear on some assignments and often pushes back due dates.

Nice guy, very passionate about his subject material. His test is hard and the group project can be difficult depending on the people in your group but the class otherwise is a breeze. He's an all around good professor who cares about his students. Take him!

I would recommend this class. My only problem was that I didn't do well on the only test of the semester, but I didn't study some obvious things I should have. It was okay because the research paper was worth a larger percentage anyway. Work hard and you will learn and do well in his class. Show interest. He is a fair and understanding man.

Prof Glandon is an amazing person, unfortunately its extremely hard to make geography not boring. Lectures the whole class but it seems like you never have enough notes and a good amount of the test is on stuff he didnt teach. Does give take home tests and ability to retake tests twice. take it but you probably won't enjoy it too much.

The most unorganized, unclear man on the planet. He takes forever to grade assignments (sometimes more than a month), and then when he finally does hand them back, he expects you to redo whole sections. I learned nothing in this class, which is sad, considering it should be one of the most important classes that a secondary ed. major takes.

Glandon is a very nice man. He is a horrible teacher. He cares about the students and is obviously interested in his subject, but the class is extremely disorganized and tests are WAY off topic, which makes it very difficult to pass them. He doesn't even assign a textbook from which you can study, and the notes are impossible to take based on what

Glandon is the man!! Four tests consisting of locating places on a map and 30 or so multiple ?'s. If you do poorly on a test and wish to make it over, you have up to 2 more tries to improve. No papers and 1 group presentation. Class is soo cake!! Def take this man if get the chance.

Taught intro to amer. ed. with wife (carol ann glandon) and it was very enjoyable but actual class material was pretty worthless. Nicest people in the world, but a group project, one big test that was confusing, and 2 average size papers is too much for a course that should be cake

Teaches Teaching Strategies and Secondary School Experience. Classes blend together, often confused which is which. Lots of projects due that he doesn't really explain what he expects. He does give them back to be redone which is time consuming. More helpful if know expectations up front.

He is such a nice and funny guy, I love him as a teacher. He gives a lot of good information about what you are in for if you are an education major. His projects are okay, not too hard at all. He only gives one test however and it is a ****. Make sure you write down everything before that test and study it!! Great class though. I loved it.

Dr. Glandon was one of the best professors I ever had so far. He is caring and treats his students with respect. His sense of humor is quite interesting. The tests are a little off base on what he teaches in class but it's an easy course..much better than Mary Graham

glandon is the nicest guy, but he doesn't really teach, the tests cover a lot of info he never gave us, but gave mostly take home tests, no text which is nice, 4 tests, 1 final, and 1 presentation, easy class, take him, better than graham
