Dr. Stein is brilliant, and an excellent teacher if you're willing to learn. As an advisor, he is perfect for those of us who don't need "hand-holding," and know our goals. He is for independent types with a real desire to know the field.

Stein freaks me out. The only thing he enjoys more than making students feel stupid is proving how brilliant he is. He is extremely arrogant and self-serving. I personally can't wait till he's gone.

Arrogant, annoying, arbitrary. If you do research under him, you'll end up doing whatever experiments he wants done for his own research. Seems to give grades based of whether he likes you or how hot you are (if you're female).

This summer will make the 4th time that I have had him as a proffesor. Words of wisdom: Take his summerclasses if you wish to increase you GPA. But,,,only take them if you are going to actually be there for the lecture. Absences will get ya into trouble!
