Best professor in the Mechanical Engineering department hands down. He cares about students learning and you better believe he will make you work for it. The course load is very heavy and requires a lot of studying. If you do the homeworks and read the book, you will do well.

A good professor very clear and to the point. Be prepared to grasp concepts because Thermodynamics is one difficult class to get through. Tough grader he will tear you apart if you forget to show units cancelling out as long as you are organized with your work and clear with your answer you will be fine.

Great Professor. Not only does he know his stuff, but is very organized with his notes/presentations and gives clear cut examples where he goes through a problem step-by-step. Overall, his class helped me become a better critical thinker. The quizzes/exams/projects aren't hard if you have a strong grasp of the concepts.

Very very tough professor. He is a very organized and clear teacher, class sessions go well. Weekly assignments are reasonable. The tests and quizzes are very difficult. Class averages are always low, usually failing or close to it. Very harsh grader, it's tough to get partial credit. Projects are lengthy and involved. I do not miss this class.

Okay, To start off, do not be afraid to take this man. He is a smart and well organized man. If you have the chance to take him, TAKE HIM. The course is hard but he handles the information well. TAKE HIM. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

Hes is a great professor. He can teach you his subject even if you don't have any prior knowledge in the the subject. Two years later after I received a D+ I still know the material. The down side with him, is his grading. it sucks major ballzz. If you can do his homeworks without a solution manual your going to do fine. You get your moneys worth.

This man is horrible for design classes. Avoid him like the plague that he is. Expects everything his way or its wrong. He doesn't even show you what his way is. This class should have been great but he made it miserable. For intro to thermo and heat transfer you will learn your stuff. For thermal fluids and design you will hate his living being.

man is a completly biased person, obivously someone who should not be an educator. i got through his class with an a-. but i feel i did not get any battering solely because i am white. a fellow student who was doing better than me who happend to be black recieved a lot of negative attitude which left him uneasy in class.

If you want an easy teacher, you should switch to a liberal arts major or phys ed. Was building the Bklyn Bridge easy? Some students can't handle engineering. Its not the professors fault. Dr Litkouhi is one of the best professors Ive ever had - if you can do well in his course, it means you really learned the material.

Hard professor, if you can take someone else, I would strongly recommend doing that. He does care about his students, but not to the point where he'll soften up. None of his quizzes or tests are "easy". On one of our tests the class Avg. was a 55%. Also, very hard to understand. Overall, not a good teacher and I'm sorry if you have to take him

Bahman is the man! Even though I dropped his class. "First start at estate 1 then go to estate 2." I used to sit in the back of class and just laugh. Litkouhi and Naraghi are hilarious. They are a great comic duo. I suggest taking him just for the entertainment value. However, if you want to do well in the class, I suggest forming a study group.

Litkouhi is terrible. He is way too hard and makes his test and quizzes way too hard. In the Fall O4 semester nearly half of his students dropped the class. That should say something. Avoid him if you can. While it may not seem so Heist is a better option for ENGS 205.
