Barb really cares about her students and their success in her class. She is very clear about what she expects out of students and gives good feedback on assignments. For the midterm and final she gives you all of the questions in class beforehand so you can study and she gives you examples of answers. You become very close with the class as well.

Barb is super helpful with anything you do in class. She is very specific with her requirements and is very quick to answer questions both in person and over email. In 213 she had a midterm and final but she told you what was on it to prepare! She really encourages participation and makes the environment easy to participate in!

Love her! I really enjoyed her class. She really cared about the students and always willing to help. She loves her job. I would recommend her! There was a mid-term and final exam, the rest of the grade came from 3 short papers, a clinical w/write up, and attendance and does exam reviews.

i really liked this class and you will learn a lot. being able to teach a group of preschoolers from campus child center is really the highlight of the semester. it is a lot of fun but also a challenge to teach them.

Wondeful teacher! She is down to earth and SO helpful! Her class is kind of fun and she keeps it interesting. There is a mid-term and final, but you discuss the topics in class. You also get to do a clinical with this class which is a lot of fun. She is a great teacher and I highly recommend her!

Dr. Gander is the best! She's so nice and so passionate about her love for children. She is always very clear and leaves her door open to any questions that somebody may have. She is also a very good person to go to for support.
