Comment:

Professor Bulford was by far the best teacher in the business school at SCCC. She knows the ins and outs of accounting and was very inspiring. 4 years after her class I am an accountant and currently studying for the CPA. I credit her classes for me to peruse accounting as a profession.

Comment:

Everyone on here that rates Prof. Bulford poorly probably didn't really want to learn accounting. I learned more in two semesters with her than I have with any of other professor combined. If you show that you care and are willing to do the work, you'll get an easy A. She's hands down the kindest professor I've had at SCCC, I highly recommend her.

Bulford doesn't take crap from anyone. She is very thorough and will continue moving forward with lectures leaving students with the idc attitude behind, you earn the grade you deserve. homework and tests are very involved but ample time is provided to complete and all excel formats are provided via the professor. if you don't like numbers avoid

I do not understand how I survived her class. She LOVES talking about politics, and if you disagree with her she will argue with you. Her tests are super tough. They're about 9-11 To-Be-Collected assignments for HW. I had her for two classes because she was the only professor that I could take that was either not online or a night class.

always goes off on tangents that have nothing to do with the class and makes everybody uncomfortable. I think she would be helpful if you saw her in a one-on-one environment but definitely not in a classroom setting.

she's kind of a terrible teacher. she doesn't care much about her students not only that, she has an ego bigger than Mount Rushmore. she thinks she knows everything about everything which is super annoying. it seems as if she gets pleasure from humiliating students and failing them. people like that should NEVER be a teacher.

Prof. Bulford is without a doubt a very intelligent & experienced in the fields she teaches. However her lectures are not always clearly communicated. She is sort of a grouch- she straight out told the class she wants to make us miserable. Never ends class early... If we get out at 3 we leave at 3:01. Overall easy tests & homework, & a fair grader.

I have a sibling helping me with this accounting class that graduated with her bachelors in accountingandhas an accounting job and all of my homework that she graded was wrong because she has her own standards that she doesn't feel the need to change. This woman is irritating. She is a very good professor and knows her material. Her class is hard but it's college accounting, it's suppose to be hard. She does give a lot of homework but only 10 of them are graded but it's easy to fall behind if you don't keep up. She's a hard professor but a good one, if you want to actually learn accounting, take her.

She's a very good professor. If you want to be an accounting major take her, otherwise try some one else. Class goes by fast, 11 chapters in one semester, I was scared to ask questions! 3 tests= 60% grade. 10 H.W. assignmets, quiz for each chapter. A portion of each test was take home so that is a plus.

Very hard, not allowed to miss any classes. Hard tests, not very clearn, when questions are asked she makes you feel silly and then doesn't really answer them. when I went for extra help she really didn't know to do with me. i was scared of her.

She was an ok professor. When I couldn't attend class one week, she was very accommodating and caught me up at office hours. HOWEVER, I would choose another professor. LARGE WORKLOAD and I worked extremely hard to get a B.
