If you have a chance to take GG294 and GG394 with Carmichael, please do so. She is the best professor in the Geography department and really cares for her students. Her material is old but extremely important. Very fair marker. Attendance is mandatory for easy marks and she appreciates students who go to class, as do all professors.

I liked this course over the prerequisite GG294 because you actually get to work on projects that mean something. Carmichael is an excellent professor, I'd definitely recommend taking any course offerings she has.

Semi-interesting course. Prof was very well spoken and tried her best to interest students, but the dry material resulted in 1/3 lecture attendance. None the less, she is a fair marker and decent prof. Definitely recommend taking a course with her.
