Professor Malt is pretty awesome and a really nice person. The PSYC/ES 398 class is great. All the topics we learn about are super interesting and it's the 1st time I've actually enjoyed reading the textbook. There are 2 weekly homework assignments, which can get annoying but they aren't hard at all.

I really liked Professor Malt. She knows a lot about the subject and does a really good job of turning every persons comment (no matter how stupid) into something insightful. The readings for class can be a little dull but if you're interested in the subject they aren't bad. The tests are challenging and I honestly never figured out how to ace them

Prof Malt extremely helpful if you go to her office hours. Her exams aren't bad; you get study guides for every exam and all exam questions are selected from the study guides. Her class is discussed based, so the quality of class really depends on the students, but her reading assignment are very relevant course materials.

Worst professor I've had at Lehigh. Doesn't know the content, skips around and is obviously disinterested. Often avoids answering questions. Her tests contain terms that were never discussed in class, or she creates her own made-up terms that are impossible to research online.

She didn't understand the material she was teaching and the textbook she used clarified nothing. Her TA was the only one who could get half the class through the semester and even she didn't understand why the professor focused on the topics she taught. It was an overall useless course because of her lack of teaching skill.

Very interesting class but Malt is horrible. Take the class for sure, but not with her. She often bashes on philosophy during class with her biased views.! SO misinformed on the subject. Shes made some flat out wrong comments. A lot of reading for an intro course, and the open ended tests are designed to make it impossible to get over a 90.

Malt gets a bad rap, but she's not that bad. Her 210 is pretty lenient for a writing intensive course. The main problem with her is her aloofness; don't expect her to care at all about you or your concerns. She was often mean to the TA, which got distracting at times.
