While taking my midterm, I happened to be looking up at the ceiling in the hope of trying to remember how to do a problem. While doing so, Obegard and i made eye contact on a coincidence. She then walked up to me and asked me to move to the front as if I was cheating or something. Um.. sorry. I didn't know it was violation to look at the ceiling.

Comment:

Put off taking math for years due to high school math trauma. Now I'm sorry because Barbara made it very easy to understand. She was very patient and did a good job with the "diverse" group in the class. Homework was IXL online which was excellent and Free! Now ready for hard math! Go to class everyday and pay attention.

Go to class & do all the daily graded quizzes with a partner(s). Graphing calculator required. Online software program with daily HW assignments; you can work ahead! BUNCH of EC on it! Cheat sheet for exams! Study guide before exam has VERY similar questions! I learned mostly by myself through the online software; got 108.6%(A++) for the semester.

I did not like it. All we did was use a program on the internet which was not helpful, but very stressfull, I think if we did written homework more kids would have an easier time understanding it. Rather than doing it online which tought me nothing but stress

She's a good teacher, she explanes things in class then makes sure you know them by giving a small quiz at the end of every class, it's open notes/book/partner so it's only there to help you on your HW.

Odegard is a nice teacher. She's kinda spacey, and you may have to ask for help with some things because she is sometimes all over the place, but I found her math class to be a pleasant one, which is saying a lot for a math class.
