Quiz, focus questions, and discussion due each week. Classroom observation sheet and journal due a few weeks before the end of the semester. Put some effort into your work and you will do fine. I started slacking off near the end of the semester and barely passed with an A. No midterm or final exams, just assignments.

Assignments were actually fun and had useful applications for the teaching profession. She clearly explained what she wanted in them. Use textbook for quizzes and they're not hard. No midterm or final. I don't know why she has such bad reviews for this class, I found it to be fairly easy.

Great teacher, makes you think & learn in varied ways & out of the box. Tests are hard but she has study groups to teach you how to study. Quizzes easy, use online book for test ?s & as a study guide. Lots to go over, but this is a class to determine if you really want to teach. (dont know about online -take in person, you'll learn so much more)!!!

Do not take this class online!!!! This teacher is unorganized, unreliable and unreasonable! She never takes late work which would be fine if she would be clear with what is expected in the first place. This Class almost changed my mind about my career. Not a tough class. Take someone that isn't scatter-brained , and knows what they are doing

Very upset I took her. Very Rude She picks favorites and gives them leeway that we do not have. Very unhelpful. Went into class with no computers. She didnt know how to use computer. Does not know what she is doing what so ever. Gets way off topic. Taught nothing from the book and made us test/quiz on things we didn't know. Easy but frustrating.

I took Mrs. Styer's class online, she is not helpful and does not respond back to emails. I completed a survey, it was worth 15 pts, she gave me a 0 for it. If she graded my final survey, I would have received an A. I emailed her and asked her about it and she did not resond back to me.I earned an A in this class and she gave me a B.

Mrs. Styers- Wow, what can I say? She is one of the best professors I've ever had. She makes every class interesting and really knows how to keep your attention with her silliness. Class is insanely easy. Biggest gripe: She only puts one week worth of work online at a time, making folks who take online classes so they can work ahead VERY frustrated. Quiz answers are in the book, in the order they appear in the chapter.

Mts. Styers is a great person and teacher. Her ed tech class was stupidly easy for someone who is familiar with computers. There were no tests, only quizes and projects. the quizes were straight out of the book, open book, and online. The projects raley coincided with the book, but required knowledge of different programs.

Styers is really easy, really nice and funny. The tests are straight out of the book, so its important you have it. Tests are online, no homework, just projects. Projects take literally an hour if you know how to use a computer. If you don't know them then it'll probably take a bit longer. Great teacher overall. Don't miss classes!

Took Online. Great Teacher! Course is extremely easy to follow, You read the entire chapter, sometimes watch some videos, post to the discussion, do your focus questions and take a 20 question quiz.
