Barb is amazing. She may get a little disorganized but has a heart if gold. One the most caring professors you could ask for. Course is not too bad, just submit your work on time.

Get ready to do homework. Every class there are multiple different assignments due. She can also get a bit frazzled and disoriented at times which gets a little confusing. Very smart when it comes to philosophy. She also is very approachable if you have any questions. Has given many opportunities for extra credit

Very nice professor. She will help if asked. Her class was straight forward, and she made it easy to understand the assignments and readings. Her class will get you thinking, and she always explains things so that everything makes sense.

She gives at least one assignment due for every class. All writing no test they will vary from 1-3 pages and may have readings that are not easy to go with them. She will go out of her way to meet with you and help you with anything that you need.

I loved Dr. Lowe's class. She is an amazing person. Smart. Kind. If I was majoring in philosophy, I'd take another class with her! She expects you to work. Do the work, and you will be fine.

Lots of reading philosophers and analyzing them. She didn't help much if you were confused. Just assumed everyone understood and never really taught anything.

Hard class. Dr. Lowe is smart and understanding, but this class had a ton of work online and and on paper. Interesting LC and easy if you put in effort, no exams a lot of papers and writing. group project sucked. Ton of reading

I took my freshman LC "Chemistry of Love and Sex" with her. She did the philosophy part. In class, it was less of what you interpreted the readings to be, and more of what she believed the author was trying to say. A typical class workload is doing pointless and busywork during class, and then being blasted with homework.

Very confusing about assignments and what she expected. Does not believe in giving A's (says they are for outstanding). Nice and a little spacey but overall I would not recommend taking a class with her unless you want to see your GPA drop.

Really, really nice lady but classes can be pretty dry. Tests are fair and the one group project you do (which was a film based project) was pretty easy. I would recommend her.

Random quizzes on assigned readings, three exams over important readings, and a final group presentation. If you keep up with your readings and participate in class, you should do fine.

One of the laziest professors ever. Likes kids to teach themselves. One could take a self learing program from home for a lot less money. Lets not forget the $3000 it cost to sit in the hell that is her class.

Least favorite teacher at Fisher so far. Many people (guys) disliked her because she is very unfair and unclear about grades. She is not open to ideas and very ****...no joke. I would rate her an S- (thats her grading system which is still unclear at the end of the semester).
