Comment:

The worst psychology professor I have ever had. When you ask him questions, he gets frustrated and doesn't answer clearly. He was very rude. My grandfather was in the hospital receiving chemo and bc of this I had to pass in 1 homework assignment late. When I tried to pass it in, he would not accept it saying i should have done it @ the hospital.

Dr. Haimson is very knowledgeable. He expects you to have done the homework and to have read the chapter prior to each lecture. If you have, the lecture will be helpful. If you haven't, you will feel lost. So do your homework and put the effort in! Also, if you get stuck at any point, utilize the TAs for help; that's what they're there for.

Teacher dull, but if you pay attention and answer questions he likes you. Exams and quizzes are not too difficult. Book exspensive but required, esp for charts in back and hw. Lots of hw, but prepares for quizzes/exam. Not too hard of a class if you pay attention. He is a nice guy who is willing to help if you ask.

He is the absolute WORST. He never helps anyone. He's alsoreally quiet so you can never hear what he's saying during class. He makes this class seem so boring and it's so difficult to concentrate. He doesn't give sufficient time to do homework and what's on his notes oesn't correspond to the homework or group work. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.

He understood what he was talking about sure, but you don't. He makes you teach yourself the chapter the night before he teaches it in class. He gives hard to answer multiple choice. The only thing I liked was that he was a good person and he was willing to accept questions. However, I did not like him as a teacher..

He is the worst person, professor,and Dean ever!Do NOT take any class with him or go to him for advise. It doesn't matter the amount of work you put in, you will end up not understanding the course at the end of the semester. Doesn't return tests and SPSS Labs at a timely manner if at all! You will end up going to the final exam feeling depressed.

I seriously gave this guy a shot. And it was HORRIBLE. Every negative comment is true. He DOESN'T care about students, and is impossible to contact outside of class. He leaves everything up to his TA. He also never lifted a finger or pen for that matter to show how to do the work. He went through 18 chapters in one semester. HORRRRRRRRIBLE!!!!!!

The comments for this professor make me laugh. He's a really good teacher and allows you to retake some of the exams if you don't do well and you will if you just read the book or the pp slides. The people here complaining are only complaining because they don't understand it and didn't ask for help. Most psych students just can't do math period.

Oh my Lord, he was the worst teacher I have ever met in my life. When he is talking you barely can hear him. you have to take his test 3 times, and if you fail the third one you have an F. Listen, don't take him if you want to keep your GPA up

By far the worst professor I have ever had. He is completely unhelpful, he thinks that everyone in the class knows just as much aboiut statistics as he does. If you go to him for extra help, he talks to you like your a complete moron. Don't take any class with Professor Haimson, you'll regret it.
