Very good prof, but expect to work hard in his class. If you didn't have Kurre for ECON 002, I don't recommend taking Weller for 004 (most in my section who had taken another prof for 002 had to do a late-drop). TIP: Ask him about his motorcycle, it's a favorite off-topic subject for him.

All material seems so easy in class, but test time will do you in. 304 is not easy subject material to begin with, but he misleads you when it comes to tests. Avoid this course, at least with Weller.

do not take this professor, if you do not have to. he makes the information seem very clear in the class, but on the tests you have to know everything to the nth degree. he is a nice guy, just an extremly difficult prof. there wasn't much room for error on the exam.

this man can teach and then information seems very simple when he explains it, but the tests are ridiculous. no partial credit on probles (bc the were multiple choice and a lot of points). don't take him if you don't have to.

This class ain't a walk in the park. Only snag: he seems to take pride in toughness & rate of failure. Never had an econ class before in my life, and his was a big surprise. Tough, but fair, exams. VERY informative & lucid lectures.

He is well-prepared in every class. I find his xx-page-syllabus scary. His testing format is very novel. He is very organized and is willing to get his students the best kind of welfare. (btw, Box-Jenkins is Graduate stuff, you gangs are lucky!)
