To all previous reviewers, Hartman is preparing you to pass the CPA exam. I agree, it's impossible to cover every single topic in financial accounting in his classroom. But you're basically memorizing the book and teaching yourself anyways to pass the CPA exam when you study. If you showed you tried and go to him, he's tremendously helpful. He's getting you ready for the real world. If you don't like to work hard, yes, steer clear of his classroom.

Required for Acc. Majors. Pretty much Hell on earth. You will have him for 2 semesters guaranteed and he is by far the hardest Acc. professor. I think he's there to scare away anybody not serious about Acc. Tests are real tricky, he doesn't want you to memorize the book. He wants to know how much u know, backwards questions...terrible.

Very nice guy.....basically a required teacher for accounting majors and you will learn a lot....his tests are very difficult so make sure you are doing work all a long.....he genuinely cares about his students and wants you to succeed....just be prepared for lots of work

He is a hard teacher, but he is a great guy. To do well you will have to put alot of time in. If you show Hartman you care he will help you out. The tests are very hard, but if you read and go over the homework problems you will do just fine. I definitely recommend him you will learn alot.
