Not as hard as people think. Pay attention to his examples in class, he pretty much shows you how to do everything. If you're struggling actually go see him in his office.

He is a great Professor, but his tests are hard. Every time he tell students to email him or step by to help. However, only 2 from 25 did. Thats why every one hate him or (think he is not good). He know his material and definitely i will take him again

I had Abu for fluids and thermo. He scaled our tests a lot for thermo, and dropped a midterm for fluids. was way more lenient for thermo. very good teacher. knows his stuff. wants to help students more but they dont seek help. his classes definitly require work, but you will learn a lot! and they are not easy courses at any school! (i transfered)

Prof Abu. is a tough teacher. No Homework, just review problems. I learned more figuring out the online quizzes than actually from his review problems. Tests are HARD. Excessively studying/preparing is the only way to pass. Note: He is lazy and will take test probs out of the book changing numbers, so studying is hit or miss.

Quite difficult. Assigns long online quizzes. Reschedules these time devouring quizzes on a whim and leaves it up to the students to scramble. Cancels and reschedules classes. Not recommended.

This guy admits he is never wrong and never makes mistakes, which is complete crap. his lectures seemed like a good buy, but be prepared for an average of a 50 or less for every test you get back. he is incompetent and very unreasonable. more than half of my class dropped before 8th week. knock down two letter grades for one mistake.

Awful teacher, shouldn't be teaching, makes classes hard on purpose, After 1 class you will know why zero engineering firms wanted him anymore. Never take him, usually impossible to avoid though. MSOE should have fired him a long time ago!

Not ideal. Doesn't explain why things work the way they do...I feel this is his greatest shortcoming. However, his tests are not that bad if you know how to use the equations. Thankfully he dropped our lowest test grade You can get an A or B in this class without trying too hard, but you won't feel like you've learned much after this course.

complete wanker. he seems like a good buy, gives decent lectures and homework, but his grading is laughable. make one tiny mistake and you are down two letter grades, make a bigger mistake and you will probably fail. i would say avoid but prob wont be able to :)

I didn't think he was so bad the first two times I took him, but after failing 2 tests in this class because of mistakes that were worth 4 points on his grading scale, I got fed up. I also didn't like when we had to come in during free hours to make up days he missed.

I expected him to be horrible after reading this board. He's challenging, but not a jerk. He was actually really helpful when I went to his office or emailed him with questions. Sorry to tell you this, people, but in the real world, you don't get credit for partially correct answers either. Engineering is SUPPOSED to be hard.

He is a very smart professor, he just has difficulty relaying information to students. He is not very helpfull. As long as you understand the homework he assigns you can pass the class. He tends to waste a lot of time telling the class pointless redundant information so he never really gets through all the material before the end of the term.
