Comment:

Really funny in a nerdy way. Mostly lecture based, but the content is really interesting if you engage yourself in what he's talking about. You definitely don't have to go to class to pass but there are some in class participation group writing assignments. He's extremely approachable and will work with you if you're having trouble with the class.

Honestly great guy. Funny, engaging, and happy to work with students who are struggling you just have to contact him. Attendance isn't mandatory but you ARE graded on some in-class participation assignments. You must be self-motivated to make yourself attend consistently even though class is interesting and the prof is engaging. Would take again.

Ben was such a good teacher and very helpful on hw,labs,and other things. he explains things clearly even though the tests are kind of challenging. They're tough but not bad. i recommend this professor to anyone especially people in the biology department.

Dr. Aronson is one of the best professors I have ever had the honor of having. He can explain things clearly, loves to discuss sciences after class, and is great at fostering students' interest in genetics and biology in general. He is the best mentor in the world!
