He does favor FFA people, but if you are going to teach Ag (which is his area) then you need to know FFA. If you don't know it, then you won't be a good ag teacher. He is just trying to prep you for the real world, not some joke job! If you have no experience, but want to learn, he is great help. Most people are to stubborn to use his help though

Dr. Byler is the most helpful professor that I have had. He is always willing to help me with any problems that I have with his classes as well as other classes. His classes require you to study, but you do learn alot about Agricultural Education and the FFA. I would highly recommend Dr. Byler!!

Maybe if he got his head out of John Rose's a** he would realize what was going on around him. He thinks TTU and himself are the s**t but he is the poorest excuse for a professor I've ever seen. TTU isn't much better, which is why I transfered to a better ag program.
